American StandardM952410-2950A DRAIN PLASTIC ASSEMBLY Satin Nickel

Just want to confirm some information for anyone looking at this listing on Amazon due to lack of proper pictures. This is a genuine American Standard “Speed Connect” drain assembly with built in stopper (in satin nickel). This is a direct oem replacement for the drain assembly that came with my AS Colony bathroom faucets. The pictures do not show the proper angles of the product, particularly the other side of the drain where the speed connect cable attaches to the drain.This is at most a 15 min install and so easy to replace an existing Speed Connect drain. I’ll be buying a 2nd assembly to replace the other drain in our dual sink vanity as this is an exact replacement for our 12 year old drains which now work like new again. I’ll post and update with pictures once I receive the 2nd drain to help show what the misting does not.

This fit our faucet perfectly. It was harder getting the old drain out than it was to install the new one.

Was the correct replacement part. Were I to buy a similar faucet, however, I would try to find one with a more substantial drain assembly.

Hard to tell from the product description but if you have a brushed nickle bathroom sink from american standard that uses the screw on cord to control the drain, this is probably what you need. I attached pictures of my old one, but the replacement is exactly the same. It comes with the necessary rubber seals. You'll obviously need plumbers putty to install. Does come with the plunger in the drain, but does not come with the cord that connects to the control on the top of the sink.
