I'm 5'7 and this hits right at my knees, so the rise on each side is about 3 or 4 inches above that. A little shorter than I care for, but still keeping it. Love the look and fabric.

I wish it were a straight a line instead of having the scalloped edge. I guess you can all around at the bottom. It seems to balloon out about around my knees.

I purchased this for our recent cruise to Mexico. The dress is roomy and with navy Sandler it was perfect for after swim, cocktails and suitable for dinner.

I've been looking for a loose, not-too-sheer, not-too-short, easy breezy dress to pop over my swimsuit while walking to and from the beach. It has been a surprisingly difficult search but finally I spotted this dress. I wear a size 22/24 and ordered the 2XL in denim blue. Yes!Now, I have to admit that the side gathering isn't flattering as one might hope - the ballooning effect is a bit dowdy. If this dress came with a straight skirt that would be an improvement. Otherwise, it's spot on as a summery dress. The fabric is light without being flimsy or sheer, so the dress could be worn on its own. There's no stretch to the fabric but the cut is loose enough to cover a multitude of shapes. Too bad the color selection is so drab.

I bought this dress for to wear on a long flight to Australia. I know it will wrinkle but it is so roomy and has big pockets for stashing things while in flight. I wear it with support hose. I have only pressed it and triedon but I think it will work.

I think this dress is great!Yes, it's potato sack-ish. Yes, it will NOT accent a girlie figure. I guess you have to know your style. I'm 5'2" ~130lbs. I like loose fitting dresses so this works well for me (denim). It hits me right below the knee; if you're taller it may be cute w/leggings. It looks like the pics...sooo purchase if you like that 'loose summer easy oversized dress-look'.

I got this for a dinner, but ended up not using it that day. Wore it instead to family gathering. Several similar rotund Goddesses decided to buy one. It’s comfy, has button sleeves if you want them tad different. Wear it with a mock turtleneck and tights, it’s just a comfy cute dress. I’d buy again. I’m 5’2 and mid 200lbs.
