Does the camera print out photos (polaroid style); are the images only viewable on the camera window?

The SD card, that is included, stores the images. You can transfer the images from the SD card to a computer and then print them.

can my 3 year old use this on their own?

My 3 year old runs around with this camera all day. She loves it!

Can you plug it into the computer and print the pictures off?

NO, as far as we have been able to try you can not get the photos that are on the camera it's self. you MUST use the SD Card provided if you want to get the pictures. The camera it's self holds about 50 photos and we can not figure out how to get them off. I used the USB provided and the drive would not show up on my computer. Put the SD card in the USB stick provided and that drive showed up.
