Swanson Pygeum 500 mg 100 Caps by Swanson Premium (3)

I've used this product for about a month. I've seen some reviewers talking about shooting ropes of semen after taking it and all that. It didn't do that for me, but I think it did help increase semen volume very slightly. What it HAS done is if not entirely then nearly entirely reduced prostate swelling and inflammation. I pee once or twice a day now and usually not at night anymore; maybe once during the night sometimes. So, that said, I'm a 47-year-old dude. Overweight, out of shape, don't drink nearly enough water (think like how we're supposed to take in about 4 liters a day and I take in 1/2 liter to no liters most days).... So, that said, I'm sexually active and masturbate, as well. I initially purchased this thinking I might like to increase semen volume because I've noticed a reduction simply due to my own neglect with water, diet, and exercise. I noticed pretty quickly that sudden urges to pee along with peeing all the time but with weak streams pretty much vanished. My urine stream started getting stronger and I was peeing less. Now, after about a month, I pee once or twice a day and my stream is pretty strong and consistent. The other thing I've noticed, and my wife, is that when I ejaculate, my semen volume seems to be greater. Nothing like other reviewers claim about "shooting ropes" or covering anyone in j!zz, but enough that it's definitely noticeable. I also take a few medications and a handful of various vitamins daily (like cholesterol meds, beta blockers for migraines, multivitamin, gingko biloba, vitamin D, etc), and there haven't been any interactions that I've noticed. (I looked up interactions before I started taking this, but still....) I started out taking just 2 capsules daily and then increased to 2 capsules twice daily, as recommended on the directions. I take it in the morning and in the evening. So, for what it's worth, I have found this product has worked for me, and I'm going to continue taking it. Super glad I found this in my research!

When I read the 2012 review by Marty Gillis, it was almost like he was describing my situation. I too went to a urologist who prescibed 3 medications to address all my problems. My 30 day prescriptions cost me $147, or about $5/day. I was told it would take several weeks for them to take effect. My main problem was the nighttime incontinence. I had to start wearing an adult diaper at night to prevent damage to my mattress. When I checked out Mr. Gillis' review and others who took the Swanson Pygeum, I though, what the heck, what to I have to lose. I ordered the 500mg Pygeum and the 540mg Swanson Saw Palmetto and started taking the 2 once/daily. Would you believe, on the very 1st night, I was dry the entire night! In the nights following, most were still dry, but on occasion, I would have some minor leakage. Now, 3 weeks later, completely dry and it was all due to the Swanson products because my 30 day urologist prescriptions had long run out. I now have about a years supply of these 2 products which I still take one/daily and my cost for the 2 come to $4/month or 13 cents/day, so it's a real bargain and kit really works! So if you are suffering from an enlarged prostate, frequent and weak urination and nighttime incontinence, don't suffer anymore. Order these 2 products and start taking them immediately. You won't be sorry.

It's a good product at a good price, and effective in what it is supposed to do. Don't expect any night and day changes, but it can certainly help.

Didn't do anything for my urinary problems. (I prefer stinging nettle root.) But, maybe it will work for you?

The item image shows a 500mg 100 capsule bottle BUT what you’re buying (as stated in the FAQ is a 250mg bottle (500mg per serving) 100 capsule bottle. (So technically half). The price is great though for a 3 pack and they came quickly so no real ‘complaints’ except that.

There are a lot of products that some feel might help with Prostate health but the only one that appears to me to get more positives than negatives in research is pygeum bark. I try to take one every day and these are easy to swallow.

Absolutely horrible. I've taken Pygeum before and never had any issues, but this product actually gave me terrible intestinal distress. One of the worst products I've ever bought on Amazon.
