Dried Anchovy Headless Deep-frying as Snack or add flavor to soups, side dish Product of Thailand 3.5 Oz.(100)

These anchovies are great tasting when deep fried. They are a wonderful part of any Asian meal in particular and Indonesian meals in particular where they are called ikan teri. They are salty and should be fried in oil that is not scalding hot. As soon as they hit the oil and they start foaming do not fry longer than perhaps a minute. Quickly remove them and let them dry on absorbent paper to soak up excess oil. Allow to call of and serve cold. You will love them.

I used them to make a curry and they came out good, flavor is all perfect but they are not at all salty as they were advertised. I would advise anyone using them to add more salt to their dish.

Great quality. I don't have the luxury of a supplier near by so I am forced to turn to online purchase. They are beheaded and gutted. I saw no signs of poor storage(no clumping, excess breakage or foreign growth/smell). In fact it looked like it was packaged that day(like self serve bulk goods). The container is good quality and resealable. I am now a repeat customer. I use mine to make Dashi for Udon and other soup stock needs and post use the remains as pet treats.

Not too many Anchovies inside the pocket. I won’t reorder. The picture is deceiving, do not buy it

Well this review isn't against the product. It came well packaged and price was fair. I just didn't have much experience preparing it . Maybe add a recipe or ideas with it. Especially to fry, because I bought them to fry as a snack and it didn't go so well.

Craving for anchovies, which is why I bought this! 1 day delivery!! Taste awesome, I'll probably have this mixed with scrambled eggs and rice tomorrow for breakfast. Yummy!
