Drawing on life's joy rooted within the mundane, his rapier wit is at once observational, clever and relevant. His major influences are Alan Zweibel, David Sedaris, Dave Barry, Mark Twain, Tim Conway, Ghoulardi (Ernie Anderson) ... with the occasional Three Stooges thrown in for immediacy. Growing up in the Cleveland area in the 1950's and 60's flavors many of Rick's stories, yet some are existentially inspired by the mundane moments of everyday life. Naked Sunfish: Caviar is Mr. Brown's second book. And while it is reminiscent of his first, Naked Sunfish: Best Bites, it is unique in its own humorous, human condition aspects. It is a "Spontaneous and Sporadic" collection of pieces drawn from his magazine combined with some brand new tales. Review: Taste is so salty and doesn't worth the price - ⭐ 1 out of 5 stars “I tried caviar expecting it to taste luxurious, but it was extremely salty and fishy. The texture was slimy and unpleasant — like tiny popping beads in my mouth. I couldn’t understand why people pay so much for this. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t try it again.” Review: Não faço ideia. - Comprei para uma amiga que está atualmente em viagem… não me falou do livro.
