Both my cats absolutely love this food (and all the flavors of Cats in the Kitchen that I've tried). I've been feeding it for about 6 months, along with Wellness Core grain-free dry food. (Before that they were eating EVO wet and dry food, but I had concerns over the fact that EVO had been bought by Proctor and Gamble, who have a history of ruining good pet food brands once they take over.) I did a lot of research to find a wet food that was both grain free and carrageenan free (carrageenan is a bulking agent that has been linked to GI issues.) All the Cats in the Kitchen flavors are both grain- and carrageenan-free, with no animal byproducts. The food looks and smells very high quality (does not have a strong smell), and although most of the food is shredded meat or pate consistency, you can see some chunks of seafood in the seafood flavors. I haven't had any issues at all with stomach upset. I've noticed that my overweight 9-year-old cat has lost a few pounds since switching their food and is much more energetic and playful. It's definitely a bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for.

I was so glad to find this here on Amazon since I rarely see it available in other places I shop. My cats love shrimp so this is a nice one to have on hand.

This food is the absolute best you can give your cat. I have tried them all from Tiki to Wellness to Halo to Ziwi to Blue Buffalo to Natural Balance, etc. and she has never done better than she has on this food. We were having problems with her skin on the higher end foods because they all had flaxseed or flaxseed oil in them. Cats can not metabolize flaxseed so it is a usable oil in their systems. I read an article in my Cat Fancy that said that because cats basically can't use flaxseed, in some cats it can cause a flaky condition that resembles dandruff. Emma had this. As soon as I took her off all the foods which contained any form of flaxseed, which was no small task in itself, her skin improved within a few days. It probably took a week or two until it was completely gone. Now her coat is beautiful without any white flakes at all! I never follow the guidelines for how much to feed my pets because the pet industry seems to want us all to have fat pets. I feed my babies what I think will work and then weigh them every few days to keep an eye on how their weight is going to adjust accordingly. Emma gets one 3.2/3.0 ounce can in the morning and one in the evening and she is maintaining a healthy 9.8#'s which is perfect for her. This food is not only excellent but so is the customer service! Totally sold on the line.
