I'm a west coast florida native--with red hair. I love the beach, i love exploring swampy state parks when most of the population is dying when they have to leave their air conditioning. I have used Sun Bum sunscreen for about two years (and their shampoo and conditioner which are both pretty good) but i wanted something that was a high spf for my face and that was formulated more for your face since i have sensitive/acne prone skin. This stuff freaking works. It soaks in to your skin and stops looking greasy in about 5-10 minutes, stays put even if you jump off the boat to cool off or you are drenched in sweat (hello my dear friend humidity). I even put it on my lips cause i always forget chapstick with SPF in it. Also i have discovered an amazing side effect of this stuff--it clears acne. no joke. its not a miracle but i noticed it when i was using it a lot and i assumed it was the sun that was clearing my face, but nope, its this stuff. Its the zinc in it. Ive since used other zinc creams made for acne but keep coming back to this cause it absorbs well, smells like the beach, doubles as daily sunscreen, and im also a tomboy who hates having tons of different goop that i have to remember to use. When im not using it strictly for sunscreen, i mix this in with some face moisturizer (alba botanica hawaiian moisture cream), rub it in, and like an hour later my face looks so much better. Again not a miracle but do the moisturizer thing for about three days and see if you notice a difference. I didn't get paid for this, just have been really impressed by this stuff. The only downside is that this stuff can be messy. I wish it came in a squeeze bottle or something.

I've sworn by SunBum for years since they were, for a while, one of the few with a zinc sunscreen that didn't burn or otherwise was ineffective/left a white cast. I've used the face variety on my tattoos and, although they are over 10 years old, most people assume they are recent due to the vibrancy of the colors. I credit SunBum for that as much as I do the original artist. Now, this time around, I used this on my face for Pride since I was outside helping a friend with their booth. I didn't get burnt, but my glitter makeup ran wild along with the sweat (despite it being set and budge proof) so I should have used something else. Keep that in mind. It does stay a little shiny, but it doesn't leave a white cast and it smells great. The scent doesn't morph and become chemically or artificial throughout the day (fellow sensitive noses, rejoice!) Like everything these days, the cost has increased while the size has decreased, but this is overall still a good value for the effectiveness.

I love the smell of sun bum. This little sun screen is great for traveling and everyday use. The sunscreen itself is a little greasy, but that also makes it pretty spreadable? So give and take. I just use the smallest amount to get around my face. I also really appreciate that when it dries it doesnt flake. Overall this has been good to me. Why is sunscreen so expensive :(

I will cry if sun bum ever discontinues this item. Whenever i put on sunscreen I feel a little irritation, but this one is so soothing, spreads SO easily, and works better than anything. Pleasant smell, doesn’t over sting the eyes like some. And, for the price, you get a decent amount, even though the tub is smaller than years previous. If you get irritation from other sunscreens and you don’t want to go fully mineral, this one is the perfect balance.

Love this stuff, but it arrived without the cap and I had to ask for a replacement. Product alone is a 5 star product though, it has great scent and goes on easily without making you feel greasy and gross. Highly recommend.

Bought another Sun Bum product a few years ago for my child, whom as sentitive and fair skin. Over the years, we have tried multiple other brands, always have some issue... greasy, don't last long, aggravates her skin or caused break outs. Sun Bum is worth every penny and more! Long lasting in water and sweating, light on the skin, amazing smell, and doesn't agitate skin or clog pores. Where with other products even applying every hour, she would burn whether in water or just sweating. Sun Bum has been so good to us that a few times she has gone a few hours in the sunny Florida sun with no burning. All other sunscreen brands have been evicted from our household. Sun Bum is reliable and here to stay!

AMAZING! I have super white freckled skin and this stuff really works. It's the only sun block I've used on my face that doesn't give me pimples! Just love it. Glides on smooth and rubs in easy. Really like a nice lotion to treat your face.

SunBum is the best sunscreen. It goes on silky and rubs in. I love how it protects my skin.

El producto lo uso y creo que está bien...ahora, el envase es malo. El fondo se despega. La tapa del fondo viene pegada al resto del envase y, tras un par de meses, comienza a despegarse y se observa como si el pegamento que la une al resto del recipiente se derritiera, dejando, de paso, manchas en la superficie en la cual esté apoyada. Cuidado con eso...te puede arruinar un mueble caro.
