Funny how someone is trying to slander Aniball here, looking at these anonymous, almost identical negative reviews. One of them even written by a male buyer lol. Anyways, I don't usually rate products but this one totally deserves it.I initially bought Aniball out of a professional curiosity (I'm a midwife). I knew about the competing Epi-no for years but in my eyes, it was just too expensive.So I never had prior direct experience with this kind of device but I always recommended perineal massage to my clients. I tried Aniball during my own pregnancy just for the sake of trying it.The product has a nice soft feel to it, packaging and accessories (meter, pencil, notepad) is really cool. The manual is clear and precise.I trained twice a day and kept doing perineum massage as well. I advise doing both since they complement each other.As a result, my labour was really quick. I didn’t need an epidural and the whole thing took like 20-30 minutes. It’s not that usual to see such a quick labour in my experience. Most importantly - I had no injuries or bruises.In theory, I knew how to breathe and do the muscle work since I'm a midwife for several years but this was my very first own childbirth. Having Aniball helped me so much to actually experience the process by myself and learn what to do during my own labour.I personally think Aniball is really underrated and hopefully, they will be working with NHS or something to popularize it more.

Started using at 38 weeks and find it very frustrating for several reasons:1) You need to buy so many other stuff before you can start using it (e.g specific soaps and wipes)2) It's super hard to insert and it also feels it hasn't been used properly.3) The exercises postpartum are impossible to do with this machine as the ballon is way too big.As a result of that, I have used it only 3 times, got frustrated and got nothing out of it.Waste of money, would not recommend it.

I'm on the fence with this one. I was recommended it by a friend. My first attempt to use it had me in tears - I found it painful, scary and difficult to use. The instructions didn't help very much as they're written in broken English .I did persevere and it did get easier, but I never felt very comfortable with it, and the most I managed to inflate it was 21cm. I suppose it did improve my confidence a bit. I ended up having a c section due to my baby's position, so I can't comment on whether it helped with tearing or not. On balance I wouldn't recommend it. While the female anatomy is designed to stretch during childbirth I'm just not convinced repeated daily stretching is a good idea.

This thing was THE BEST pregnancy investment ever, over the period. I mean it's kinda weird for the very first time? But after that, you quickly realize how the actual birth feels like. I combined it with hypnobirthing (actually my hypno teacher recommended it to me) and did some perineum massage on the side but couldn't stand the "massage" thingy lol. Trained with Aniball exclusively for the last two weeks prior my delivery and had absolutely calm and quick childbirth. The thing is... it's not only a physical preparation, it actually helped me so much with confidence. Highly recommended !!!

I've been exercising for a few days now and the product is really high quality and easy to use. The balloon is much stronger than I expected. For now, I've already increased diameter by a few centimetres and I feel much more confident. Definitely would recommend.

I am very happy that I bought this as I am definitely feeling more confident every day as my due date approaches. I have now reached 24cm and am hopeful that by the time my baby arrives that I will have managed a wider circumference and that this will really help me during labour.However, I also found the instructions to be lacking and I am always terrified to have "pumped too much", as there is no way to measure until afterwards. My worry is that some people may really hurt themselves if they don't get to know this product really well before trying it out.

Genius, worked for me, giving only 4 stars as it is too expensive for what it is but the idea is amazing

Fantastic help in my opinion. I decided to buy it because I wasn't able to reach down there comfortably to perform perineum massage and using Aniball was much easier. As it turns out, it also gives you that much needed confidence during your first pregnancy. It helped me to learn how to breathe properly and push without unnecessary muscle tension. Definitely recommended.
