Exploring the Solar System Coloring Book (Dover Space Coloring Books)

I can up my review in a couple weeks. I bought it for my nephew who is going to come and visit. He loves planets and while he isn't big on coloring this book has lots of information! I am excited though because I really think he will like it!

My children like the book though there are a few more they like more. Still we use it for reinforcement of material - which is better than another worksheet!

Very nice book Since my Grandson will be getting a telescope for ChristmasI think its the perfect little "extra" that he will enjoy

Perfect my kids love it and much more comprehensive then many others I have seen.

The book arrived in excellent condition and in a very timely manner. I plan to use it in my classroom this coming school year. I have never taught astronomy before and feel certain this will be of great benefit to me and my students.Amazon is usually the first place I go to for school supplies, for me, my grandchildren and my students!

I thought this coloring book would provide some fun facts and entertainment for my space loving niece… And then she showed me the pictured page. I’ll offer a grain of grace considering this book was published in 1998, but a grain is all it gets. “A segment of the scientific community believes it’s an artificially constructed monument”? Absolutely not. The fact that half of a page is devoted to this dumb misinformation is sad and pathetic. It makes me wonder what other information the book got wrong. I half expect to hear that another page claims that some scientists believe that the moon landing was a hoax and Area 51 is full of little green men.At the very least, only buy this if you want space facts that haven’t been updated in the last quarter of a century.

Our granddaughter asked Santa for a solar system coloring book. Her parents didn't know such a thing existed. But Grandma remembered buying this book many, many years ago for one of her own daughters and happily found it on Amazon. It was a great success!
