Q: Can this bag accommodate a Black & Decker cordless drill along with some basic tools like wrenches and hammer?

No, I dont think a cordless drill with tools like hammer and wrenches will get into this. My own experience with this bag says that its a basic toolkit for home with very basic tools. And if you fill it up till its top, zipping the bag is difficult because of its stiff construction. I suggest take a little larger version if available.

No,there is No option for cross hanging.
