Challenging but fun
I knew when I ordered this it would be challenging. With nearly three thousand pieces, how could it not be? The pieces are divided into separate, numbered bags but the instructions did not reference bag numbers with assembly steps. As such, I simply went with a start with one and open bags in order. This seemed to work fine enough. The final product is a nice addition to my collection.

Great display piece
The kit is pretty well made, and all parts were fully formed, easy to slide together, and they all held relatively well. Instructions for this were a little different from what I am used to, but they are clear enough to get the job done. It doesn't hold quite as much detail as a full sized brick set may, but it does well enough to convey what it needs to, and works well as a display piece on a table or shelf. For anyone who enjoys brick kits, this would be a wonderful gift.

Nice looking set, slightly fiddly.
BANANA FOR SCALE!! For $21.99 at the time of ordering this set is decent value for the money. It's fit and finish is pretty good, and it was fun to build. The stickers got a little tedious toward the end so help would be advised for younger kids. The technique to build the skyscrapers was decent but requires a little fiddling to get things lined up on the taller building. At the last step I also saw that the brown building smashed the middle structure and I had to remove a base plate piece so they don't interfere. This tells me that this set was designed digitally and not tested. I can see the angle is different on the middle structure in the CGI cover image but the instructions don't fix the interference. Overall it's a good set, and will display nicely.

Beautiful and fun build
It took me a few days to finish this model up and wow the results are beautiful. Very detailed model that resembles the original cathedral that it represents fairly well. Know that these are very tiny building blocks, much smaller than the LEGO standard pieces. It can be a little fiddly with fat fingers, but it was still fun to build.

Not so pro lego set
THIS... Is a lego model Mecca, consisting of 1255 pieces. This lego set took me quite a long time to complete, around 4 hours, and this was for a few obvious reasons... and a few headache reasons. Out of the box, the pieces are really well made and honestly every block was really high quality... however, there are no good instructions or 'assigned' bags. That means, from the beginning, you will be sifting through all 1255 pieces to find the one next lego block you need. This caused everything to be a headache, and then to add on top of it... everything is white! The instructions were good but not great giving only visual instructions, and some of the graphics make the exact placement hard to tell but nothing an extra look doesn't solve. The most annoying part was that this set was seemingly shorted a few singles and right angle blocks, causing me to have to use an excess of 2 piece blocks which there were plenty extra of. That was the tale of this build, fun but frustrating. This build has everything you would want in a high quality lego set, but a few large hurdles such as the mixed bags of legos and lack of detailed instructions cause me to deduct a couple stars. Overall, I would only recommend getting this if you just HAVE TO build mecca, as this is still a really nice set.

Detailed and vibrant landmark build with smart instructions
The Mecca Mosque Mini block set offers a surprisingly satisfying building experience for its scale. With 1255 pieces, it delivers both visual impact and thoughtful design. The parts are well made, with strong clutch power and consistent sizing that makes alignment easy and stable. Despite being smaller than traditional LEGO bricks, the fit and finish hold their own, no warped edges or weak connections to report. Colors are vibrant, enhancing the architectural detail without overwhelming the structure. The instructions are especially noteworthy; each step clearly highlights new additions, which cuts down on confusion and makes the build approachable even for newer hobbyists. It’s an appreciated touch in sets with dense piece counts. For its price point, the model is impressively substantial. The landmark recognition adds extra appeal, especially for collectors or anyone exploring architectural themes in miniature formats. Based on this build, I’m genuinely excited to explore other structures in their series. If they maintain this level of quality and presentation, the collection should be a rewarding one to grow. --- The Cologne Cathedral miniature building set is a standout example of how to do a mini brick kit right. From the moment you open the box, the experience feels thoughtfully curated. Numbered bags keep the build organized, and the instructions are detailed and well paced, which is a welcome change from the often chaotic layouts found in other micro brick sets. The final model is impressive. The architectural detail is strong, especially at this scale, and the construction feels solid once complete. It’s clearly designed with display in mind, and it delivers a satisfying result for architecture enthusiasts or collectors looking for a refined piece to showcase. Whether you’re building it for yourself or gifting it to someone with an eye for historic landmarks, this set offers a rewarding build and a polished finish. It’s a great example of how mini bricks can be used to create something truly elegant.
