what is the length of the support pad?

It’s long enough to hold your arm all over while you move your mouse. The whole thing is built exactly like the one a physical therapist faculty member at a major university ordered for me many years ago except smaller and lighter. It was an excellent choice and it has helped my arm immensely. .

What is the maximum height from desk top to wrist pad? We need to have 6-8" in height from desktop. Thank you.

The maximum height from top of desk to top of wrist pad is 2 1/2".

Will this work if atteched to something vertically?

I don't think it will work if it's attached vertically. It's designed to attach horizontally.
