Great quality, solid and aesthetic. Heavier than expected ( but In a good way) I use it for herbs but thinking of getting a second one for other uses.

Great for crushing pills!
This mortar and pestle set works very well for crushing pills. I have dysphagia and can’t swallow pills of any kind (mine get crushed and mixed into chocolate pudding) and this crushes them into a fine powder. Note for anyone with arthritis or wrist issues, the base is heavy, so be careful when picking it up. I definitely recommend this set!

For Pet Lovers
This is a great product especially if you have a pet that needs medication in the form of a pill. And that said pet fights you every time you have to give them a one or two pills. I found the best way to combat that was to buy this mortar and pestle and crush up the pills and put in their food. It worked like a charm. This mortar and pestle is easy to use and a really nice looking product. It is a little heavy but I believe it is the marble that makes it so.
