Sur La Table Nova Deruta Pasta Serve Bowl, White

I was excited to buy this on Amazon because the value was better here. the retailer had it available but did not offer me free or overnight shipping. I ordered it here from Amazon. Got it the very next day! It was beautifully packed and came directly from the store. I recommend buying it here 100%. It’s a beautiful item and makes a wonderful gift. The color and design is even better in person.

Very unhappy with almost every purchase from Sur La Table on Amazon. Sent $20 bowls with defects including this one (3 of 4 bowls had manufacturing defects). Didn’t include 1 item even though they said they did. And cheap kitchen towels and cheap thin metal breadbox. Keeping 1 item out of 9 I bought. Those are not great odds - Best of luck if you buy anything from them!!

The bowl delivered to me loose wrapped in a single layer of paper, no taping no cushioning materials but placed in a thin paper bag. This is Sur la table! And the bowl is $65 yet they didn’t care to handle a decent packaging. Very stingy unreliable company. At least the bowl is pretty, arrived undamaged, could have been much worse. Will not support this company again.

It's really nice and better looking in person. We have a genuine Deruta espresso set (i.e. hand painted from the town of Deruta in Italy). The details of this pasta bowl are not up to that standard but that is not what you're paying for here. It does have a very attractive hand-painted and rustic look.It was packaged very carefully to withstand a lot of abuse during delivery, pretty much falling off the truck!I got this for the family to replace our old chipped Williams-Sonoma serving bowl and I searched so many options on Amazon and other places. Now I'm wanting to replace all the individual pasta bowls with this style. I was concerned that the serving bowl is smaller in diameter compared to our old one but it is also deeper. In the end it holds more volume than the old one. I would buy this again and would happily sell it if I were in retail.

These bowls live up to the reputation of Deruta pottery. They are functional and attractive. They also came very well packaged.
