Works as stated!
Taste good, good value, appears like itโs designed, aroma was good, use in a small bottle size, texture was dry, not sweet at all, but overall I will try this again.

Use as Intended
This is great in spirits, it's not perfect, but it isn't bad by any means. If you are ordering this to mix with water to make NA bourbon: don't, it's terrible for that.If you enjoy making your own wine or beer, you could try mixing this in. I used it on some cider I made and it worked fairly well.

Love the container, not so much the flavor
The best part of these is they come in a resealable bottle, which for some weird reason no other brands do. Also love that there are marks at one-thirds on the bottle so you don't have to measure or guess. Brilliant. The bad news is this doesn't taste very good. The other brands aren't spot-on bourbon flavor by any means but they are considerably better than this one. For reference, I purchased a 750ml (regular sized bottle) of unaged White Whiskey from a local distillery that uses a wheat mash (think Maker's, Weller's, etc.) instead of rye & poured that into my mini oak aging barrel to age for a couple of weeks. Once it got to the color & woody flavor I liked, I used 1/3 of a bottle of this essence as directed. Tasted right away & not great. Let sit for a couple more weeks & still not very good neat or on ice. Definitely still drinkable in a mixed cocktail (throw some cola in it or make a decent old fashioned) but still not great. Will keep experimenting with other brands.

Flavor
I am still working on get the ratio correct on this porduct for mocktails and that is why I gave it a 3. The tequila however is spot on and easier to measure.

Such a tiny bottle
Not a very big bottle at all

So so
Not super worth it. Too expensive.

Bourbonish? Bourbonesque? Something like that
Initially I used this as directed. And was disappointed by the flavour. Which was weak to say the least. So already having potentially wasted a bottle of neutral spirits, and thinking I might not do the same again, I kept adding this until it approximated bourbon.Which happened to be half way down the next mark which indicates how much to add to a 70cl bottle. So I'd say you can make two bottles not three as stated. Not a bad taste once you get the dosage right . But still more like generic off brand than top shelf. Decent with cola not great straight
