Bought this Space Shuttle for my son who is 2.5 years old who Loves space shuttles and rockets. Package was delivered on time.Pros:Nice design and sleek.Cons:Biggest Drawback with this product is its size which is too small and one gets fooled easily when one orders the product on the website.For this size it seems too costly.

Great little matchbox size space ship
Silly me didn't read the description so it was smaller than expected. Not sure why I expected it bigger for the small price. Still great little rocketship for those space loving kids out there. Well built too. No complaints.

1980年代、スペース・シャトルは「アポロ計画」とはまた違った形で、宇宙飛行の夢を可視化してくれた。「彼」が初めて成層圏から滑空したときの映像を、私はいまでも思い出すことができる。B-747に背負われて離陸したときは、いかにも試験飛行物といった風情だったが、いざ滑空し始めるや、愛らしい曲線の機体が一転して、険しい大気圏突入にも耐える、荒ぶる飛行体としての本性を見せてくれた。そしてランディング。まるで飛行機のように滑走路に還ってくるなんて。きっと、これからの宇宙開発は、スペース・シャトルが切り拓いていくに違いない、なんて頼もしいヤツなんだ！こんな熱にうなされたのは、私だけではないだろう。30年ぶりぐらいに「彼」を模したSIKUのミニカーに巡り会うことができた。息子も、気に入ってくれている。息子は、長ずるにつれて宇宙開発の歴史を知り、スペース・シャトル計画の隆盛と、終焉の理由を知るに違いない。そのときが来たら、私は息子に、こう話すことにしようと思っている。「彼の生涯には、確かにいろいろあったけど、出会ったころの彼は素敵だったし、夢を叶えてくれそうなヤツだったんだ。今でも、俺は彼のことが好きで、息子くん、君に紹介したくて、彼のミニカーをプレゼントしたんだよ」
