Waterman Ink Bottle Florida Blue/ Serenity Blue 50 ml

Decent saturation, one of the best behaving inks out there (no feathering, spreading or bleedthrough, also one of the best inks for cheap paper). Good flow. Great for day to day use. Dye based, neither waterproof not archival quality. If you want a more vibrant blue, you have to spend a bit more. But for the price the quality it offers is sufficient.

This would be the best ink for office use and for bad papers. It does not feather, it does not bleed and dries quickly. I tried to test it's limit by even writing on newspaper but it did not feather. It did bleed but no feathering, which is huge for a fountain pen ink writing on newspaper. My pen: Jinhao X159 (Fine nib, but I slit the tines a bit more so it writes more like a medium

This ink has one main issue, no water resistance whatsoever, put a drip of water and rub it and work is gone so if you work with water nearby (glass of water or soda) be careful. Now that main issue is out lets get to good parts. First is colour which is very subtle royal blue and truly does not shine on paper making it not stand out but look elegant at same time, thus my heading " doesn't scream". Second is flow, very consistent and no feathering or bleeding on any paper I tested ( plain A4 sheets or simple registers) making it best for any work. The problem of water resistance (lack of it) has one advantage, ink is very easy to clean and very hard to clog in nib even when uncapped the pen for some time. Drying time is fast, but then I use normal paper which are absorbent in nature. Presentation of packing though is a issue, in my case bottle was not even in the bottle packet rather seperated from it which was odd and this is my second bottle for same ink ( first bottle had some minor presentation issue but can't remember was a while ago). Overall a good ink if one needs a blue and does not mind lack of water resistance. Personally I recommend to go for it.

I have been using the ink for a couple of weeks now in three of my pens. This is a good solid blue ink, which is reasonably wet and flows smoothly and has a good dry time. It is not water resistant, but that was not to be expected anyway. The Serentity Blue is a shade darker than the other Royal Blues that I have used before including Bril and Camlin. But I like the consistency of the Waterman Serenity Blue better.

The waterman Florida Blue ink is of the best quality. Excellent shade no spread and no dried up easily in pen but help in long in every refill, not corrosive propertie seen.I like to have every colour of ink belonging to waterman. Consistency of ink

This is one of the best inks that I have ever used. I used it with a lamy studio and it was such a delight to write with. This ink tends to be wet and behaves well on most papers.

The ink is prominent and clear dark blue. Initial usage appears to indicate smooth flow (will update on this over a period of time) as according to me this is the most important feature Will update my review after a prolonged usage Not sure why there is emphasis on water resistence - we are using fountain pen where the focus is on water based dye inks and not chemical inks.
