A good enter into the bagua quan world through basics
A simply good book with plenty of ideas and concepts. It speaks about the basics principles and concepts of the chinese "internal" martial art world (Bagua, Pakua) and presents some very useful basic exercises. For sure this is not a book that will teach you martial art step by step. You need a teacher! Only a fool can expect to be taugh a martial art by any book. Anyway a good reading that will push you to think...

Excellent book!
I love this book - one of my references!I believe this book is one of the great bargains for what it teaches. I am still in absorbing the material but, overall - a worthy addition to my library and training manuals!

Read it in a book store, don't buy yet
Just look at the cover, his posture. He does not follow an important rule in martial arts practice.Look at one of his knees. One of them is in front of his toe. That's an error.A Kung Fu man has to be aware, know that the knees don't getin front of, past the toes.Remember this rule, if a "sifu" makes this error, run away from that school.Does this guy know anything?Of all the basic postures, why does this posture,an uncomfortable one gets on the front page??
