Fits and works inside an old torch.
We were delighted that these bulbs fitted and worked inside an old torch. We had been misled and let down by other bulbs ordered on Amazon but these worked just fine. Recommended.

Works as described...
does what it says on the tin, as they say. Put one of them in an ancient hand lantern I bought from Halford's donkey's years ago. It fitted perfectly and works as described - as an LED replacement for kpr113 incandescent bulb. It really makes an enormous difference and gives it a new lease of life. You can see the difference in brightness in the before and after photos. As it saves buying a new lantern it's excellent value for price.

Not very bright.
Disappointing. Not as bright as the filament bulb it replaced. Obviously uses much less current than a filament bulb leading to much greater battery life. Also - a big also - these bulbs are polarised. The positive side of the battery must connect to the base of the bulb, not the side mounting flange. If fitted into a hand lantern that uses the standard 996 battery it is unlikely to work. Excellent for replacement use in panel lights, but not really much good in torches/lanterns, particularly if you are used to the high brightness of COB LEDs. They will not turn your trusty old Ever Ready lantern into a modern LED equivalent.

Not as bright as being a new cree torch but does the job and will last loads longer.
Torch is now functioning loads better. Definitely brighter but not as bright as a new cree torch. Defo worth the while tho to bring life back to an old torch.

Waste of money
Complete waste of money , not fit for purpose so dim you make as well be fumbling in the dark, which is exactly what I ended up doing !! Total Rubbish .
