Air Dream Replacement Valve

this was a perfect replacement fit for the valve in my airbed. Although all I really needed was the red flapper button, this fixed the airbed and it is now fully functional again. The cost to fix was considerably less than a new airbed. The removal and reinstallation of the valve was tricky, but YouTube videos covered the process. It took me about 5 minutes to install, once I watched a couple videos.

Because of a small tab on the valve that had broken off, my Aerobed would not hold air. The mattress is about 20 yrs old, but still in good condition and otherwise working. It cost ~$200. Though this part is made for a different product, I took a chance and it worked! Using a hairdryer to heat up the ring that holds it, it was not too hard to swap out the old and put in the new. I'm really happy to have been able to fix the mattress and also to keep it from being trashed unnecessarily .

This valve worked perfectly on a twenty year old aero bed! It was very easy to replace. It came with instructions that were very easy to follow. A little warm air from a hair dryer helped to loosen the seal so the old one came off easily and the new one slipped right in.

Original valves are known to fail, so it's good that a quality replacement is available at reasonable cost. This one came without instructions, and replacing the valve is tricky. There are videos on YouTube, but the key thing to know is that (unless you have great hand strength) you will need to use a hair dryer to soften the thick vinyl neck-piece of the mattress that the valve fits over. This helps both to remove the old valve and to fit the new one.

Fit perfectly

I have an old Aerobed air mattress that is in good condition, except that a very small piece of plastic broke off of the valve, making it impossible to seal. Even though this valve is marketed for a different air mattress, it fit the Aerobed perfectly and saved me from having to go out and spend a few hundred bucks on a new one. Removing the old valve and replacing it was a bit tricky, but I was able to do it in about 10 minutes after watching a short YouTube video. I'm very happy with this product.

Once it is installed works great but take a chill pill before installing. You will need some patience

Didn't think it would work, heated old one with a hair dryer to get it out,made it easy to install the new one. Didn't have a pump so I use a vacuum cleaner to blow it up. Works great.
