Beach Chair
Love this chair. It is so comfortable. Great for beach, camping or anywhere you want a great chair to sit in.

Not long enough!
If you are taller than 5'5", do not buy this chair.Full disclosure, they sent me the wrong chair. I paid for the reclining mesh and they sent me the fully covered camping chair. With that said, the two are quite similar with one major issue- THE LENGTH. I am 5'6" tall. At the 66-inch length listed in the product description, my feet were hanging off of the foot rest, my head rested above the pillow, and the arm rests are too short (compared to two other chairs I tested). It never occurred to me that as a slightly taller than average female that this would not fit my frame. A male family member pointed out that this chair does not appear to have been designed for the hight dimensions of the average US American male, which is typically the standard for items sold in the US.Also, the carrying case material is really thin. I would be shocked to see it last even 6 months with regular use.

Great chair for the money
I was looking for a lightweight and easily transportable chair that would still be sturdy and comfortable. I got exactly that with this chair. It sits lower to the ground than a normal folding chair you would take to a soccer game or camping. It sits you semi-upright rather than military bolt upright at a 90 degree angle. The footrest is very well engineered to swing out as the chair unfolds and makes for a very comfortable reclining position. Do not get this chair if you want to sit upright at a table or around a group of others. Do get this chair if you want to relax by yourself or with another person in the same chair as if you were at the beach or by the pool.

Comfy except for my knees.
I’ve had this chair for over a year now and decided to write a review. Overall I like it, but the one negative is the foot rest actually slopes upward toward the foot end and makes your legs feel like they’re bending backwards at the knee. I recently tore cartlidge in my knee, and it is very uncomfortable to put pressure on them this way so I have to keep a pillow under my legs at the knee when I sit in this chair. Other than that, I really like it. It’s comfortable and functional. Recline angle is perfect for my lower back.

Not understanding all the bad reviews
So, I have folded and unfolded this thing a million times with no issues. It does come with instructions as to how to unfold the chair in such a way that you can fold it back up, but the "technique" they show is pretty intuitive. I've found it to be pretty comfortable and have walked away from it only to come back and find somebody else asleep in it. Missing a star because the recline is not that easy, but even upright, it's still way more comfy than other camp chairs with attached foot rests.

Nice Chair, but …
This is a very comfortable chair which really does recline, and which allows me to keep my feet up. It's easy to set up and take down, and fits back into the carry sack reasonably easily. It doesn't feel flimsy, which I was afraid it might. Just be careful getting in and out, which can be a tad clumsy, since the footrest can't be removed, or swung out of the way. I found that out the hard way, when my husband said something to me as I was sitting down, I missed placing my hand on the (supported end of the) far armrest, but continued my downward trajectory, and took a tumble, which left me with the chair both underneath and on top of me.

Chair can get stuck in open position
This chair was used exactly once, after which no one could close it. It wouldn't budge. We literally had to bring it home fully open in the car, across the laps of kids in the back seat, and we've never used it since. That was 3 months ago.During this period, several adults (all campers, who have each used many folding camping chairs) tried to get it to close, but we could only move the footrest and the reclining portion of the back - none of the main structure would collapse to allow us to put it away properly.I would have thrown this chair away long ago, had it not been so expensive, so every month or so one or another adult would take another stab at closing it.I watched YouTube "unboxing" video reviews of the chair, to confirm there just wasn't a trick to it that we were all missing.Today, after spending another 30 minutes on it, I finally got it to close!Near the 4 bottom feet, there are 4 secondary support pieces. 2 of them slide nicely, and the shaft that they slide on has a well-defined groove, like a track, to promote this movement. They are clearly intended to move along this track. The 2 on the other side, however, do not have such a groove, and these were both frozen in place. Because they both froze symmetrically, and were engineered differently from the 2 that did slide, it gave the appearance that these 2 were not intended to move at all, but rather were fixed connection points. While I'm relieved to have finally figured it out, I really hate this chair now, as it has been a source of so much aggravation for so many people.I did up my review from 1 star to 2, however, because I now hope to be able to actually use this chair. I would not recommend it though, as I consider this to be a design flaw and the amount of effort to overcome it excessive. There are so many other chair options out there, that I will not be buying this one again.

Very Happy and Comfortable (Even 3 years later)
I am currently using this on a Boy Scouts Camping trip and everyone else is jealous! It is so comfortable we want to order a bunch with the BSA logo and have it be our official chair for the troop. My only caution is that I just got this chair so I can't speak to durability.Update: 3 years later. This chair saved me at that camp. I spent most of my nights in this chair on top of a picnic table under a rain fly. It was heaven.I have read a bunch of reviews relating to getting jammed open. I have never had this issue and I own 2 of these. Maybe a bad production run? From my side I cannot give this chair enough praise. I'm a very happy customer.
