Pro Touch Assorted Hot Roller Clips, 12 Count

My original hot rollers used metal clips. The replacement came with plastic wrap around clips that weren't supposed to leave bumps in your hair but did. I was using the clips from the original set but I had lost some of the clips from the original set of rollers and didn't have enough for all of the rollers. I found these on amazon. They work really well. I like them so much that I ordered an additional set. One problem that I have had is sometimes the flat end of the clip doesn't want to go around the bottom of the roller so you have to play around with it to get it to go on correctly.

Cushioning is superb! 4E width VERY comfortably snug, but not squeezing. PLEASE offer more color options (brown, beige, blue, etc). I am a color-coordinating FREAK, from the old school, and would love to get some for my "brown/beige" days!

Hot rollers and the 80's! Big Hair done in a time crunch. Tucked safely in the back of my bathroom cupboard was my hot rollers. But only a couple of the clips! You have to love Amazon...quick search....and My hot rollers are in action again! (I'm not creating Big Hair, but they do work to control the crazy curls that have a mind of their own!)

I bought these and another brand on Amazon and have been using them for over a year now. The other Sta-Rite brand felt more substantial and worked really well for about 6 weeks until all the tips started coming off, leaving them unusable (some of the tips on the smaller pins remained on, but wore down until the edge of the metal is exposed and hurts the scalp if used). This Pro Touch brand felt flimsy when beginning to use them and a bit trickier to use, as the metal is very thin by comparison. However, I have come to like them very much and after using them for a while, they are easy to get around the roller....just have to get the hang of it. Also, they are lightweight, have had no issues with the metal heating up from the rollers and burning the scalp, does an exceptional job at keeping the hot rollers in place, are flexible but has kept it’s shape with no bending and after more than a year, they are like new, tips and all. They work with small, medium and large rollers, but not great for jumbo rollers, but neither is the other brand.

I needed more clips for my Jumbo size hot rollers and these were NOT big enough...because they are too small they just pop off. I was surprised that they were called "assortment sized" because they were not. Also the quality of them was poor. Very light and thin metal. I would return them but I already paid more in shipping than the item cost...Do not buy these for use on jumbo rollers

I don't know if i got the wrong product or something but they did not work for me. They are unabl to hold onto the rollers because they open wide and do not stay tight. the metal is very "flimsy" and bend easily. i don't like them at all. I should have gone with another choice. At this point i'm convinced that anythign else would be better than these. They didnt work for me at all. Which was a disappointment.

I have finally found clips that work perfectly with my 'old' favorite Conair Easy Start white plastic rollers. The old clips have no rubbery protection left on the sharp tips. And these clips also work perfectly with my new pink and gray flocked rollers which came with plastic clips that have burned my scalp and fingers. I am thrilled to have these hard to find clips!

My reason for buying these is not to hold curlers in my hair. I use them as hair pins (up-do for work every day). I have really thick hair, so I cant use the regular hair pins from places like target or walmart. Those are way too flimsy and small and don't hold much hair. i've tried. and even using almost 20 of them (and a frustrating 15 minutes of trying), I can't get my hair to stay in. Annoying. I was buying these ones to replace the curler pins that I had from a curler set from the 90s. I lost all of mine except one. Here's how these compare to the one I have left from my 90s curler: The metal used for these is way flimsier than the sturdy ones from the 90s, but still better than anything available in stores. The rubber end caps have already broken off of most of them. if they are on the verge of falling off, they get caught in my hair in either direction and really hurt to get out. Then once the metal ends are exposed, it is harder to get each pin into my hair because the metal end doesn't slide through very well, and tugs at my hair, sometimes breaking hair. the ones I had from the 90s, I used those for YEARS STRAIGHT and NOT ONE rubber end ever came off. overall rating, poor quality. But if you are desperate like me to find something like this (it was hard to even search for, what do you even search for???? curlers aren't even made anymore!!! so you can't search for "curler pins"), then it is worth the dang money, even though they are pretty crappy.
