Superb value for money
Performance is one thing, how long it performs for is often a very different consideration. Whilst I'm firmly a hobby user that use is extensive, and so when I saw a large number of very similar compressors, which were probably from the same source, I knew the difference to find is what was specified by the brand, and how good are they at backing up their products. I have experience with other Hyundai branded goods and on inspection of what was received I can report a continuation of just the right level of quality I've witnessed before. Anyone can start a brand and put a sticker on a product with their name on it, but with the established Hyundai's spec's and checks I feel I'm getting that better assurance of quality borne out by evidence of time. This particular product had a few minor parts to be assembled on receipt, with some good advice noted from another review that opening the box by inverting and opening underside of the box, then placing that open side on the ground carefully and lifting the box off it was better than trying to lift the bulk out of the box when upright, good steer. The instructions were simple, and frankly if you can't understand these you shouldn't be using a compressor. Operationally the main reason for this type is the noise level, and this one is a joy in that respect. After years and years of a regular compressor letting everyone know it was running, I've gone to having to take ear buds to check this one is running at all. Chalk and cheese on the noise front. I think the flow rate is about right, maybe a tad ambitious, so if that is important to you be aware. I'm using it for high consumption spray guns on small parts, and the ability of the compressor to keep up with the air use is being challenged, which is a product of the pressure settings on this one to a degree. The pressure switch is set to come on when the receiver is a little too far drained for me, and as that's not adjustable it can't be corrected to the slightly higher start pressure I'd like to see. However, using the old compressor's receiver as additional capacity I can get around what I'm spraying (electric guitars) without the compressor needing to cut in, it's that marginal in my case. The ball valve on the receiver drain is a breath of fresh air, the usual thumb screw type are horrible, and although I use an air cleaner on the line to the spray gun the on-board one on this unit does a great job of trapping moisture in-spite of its close proximity to the compressor where warm freshly compressed air will have moisture in suspension. The self draining function on the cleaner is also welcome. Running around the various fasteners and fittings none were found to be in need of tightening. The fixings for the wheels and coned feet are a little basic, a classic 'they could be better but they work as well as they possible could', so aesthetic and pedantic elements such as washer quality, clearances and thread lengths might have some folk frowning, but as a cost saving element which might only meet the needs of the few they are worthy deviations from absolute ideals. The large Hyundai decal on the receiver is struggling to stay adhered at the edges and will look a bit naff in a few months, it would have been better to have fully cleaned the surface before it went on. But, costs, blah blah! All in all, mine has been running for weeks now, every day, in use for hours on end, and it gives that feeling of confidence that I like, where I can concentrate on the job it's being used for, not what I'm using for the job. A picture of the compressor will be as much use as nipples on a fish, so here's a pic of something it was used for instead ;-).

Incredibly quiet and well put together.
I looked at several different brands of these so called silent compressors and was very sceptical of its quietness. I’ve owned 4 different compressors ranging from a 6ltr Clarks mini compressor up to a 150ltr workshop / spray booth compressor, all of them made an absolute racket! This Hyundai is just incredible, it’s so quiet that i actually thought it wasn’t working correctly, don’t get me wrong it is NOT silent but they don’t say it is but it is very quiet! Assembly is stupid simple of just the wheels and front rubber feet, takes less than 5 mins in total - my tip if your interested? Open the box and slowly rotate it on the ground at all times and slowly pull the box off of the compressor - it has a polystyrene pod on each end, keep these on to keep it balanced upside down then you can remove the bag of wheels, axle bolts and rubber feet and attach them easily whilst upside down, once done, turn it the right way up and then screw the air filter in the back end top of the cylinder head by hand only - that’s all it needs, don’t over tighten this part. My only regret is not buying the 50ltr but i didn’t want to waste money if this had been noisy, hearing how quiet it is i would definitely have bought the 50ltr as i like to have a bit more volume. Buy with absolute confidence and ignore the ones that look similar but are not, this has two air outlets and also has the water separator which the other ones don’t and the others have higher decibel output.

Quiet.
Extremely quiet air compressor, which is reasonably priced, with enough output for most small jobs including small spray work with a small spraygun. Delivered on time in good condition.

Its quiet and small.
It's quieter than some other compressors and is small enough to not be cumbersome to move, however the tank needs draining of all the steel shot blasting media that was left over from manufacturing, if you rock the compressor while it's empty and if you hear any sound like sand moving about, that's the steel shot blasting media used to smooth out the internal welds after it was fabricated. It has a maximum pressure of about 7 bar (100psi) before it cuts-out, and it kicks back in at around 4 bar, with a air gun set to 4 bar on the regulator you get about 35 seconds of air time before it kicks back in to fill up the tank. The instructions are a bit lack luster, telling you to operate the safety valve as part of the initial setup test but you can't operate it at all, the instructions don't say or show how to mount the front two little feet however if you use a socket and spanner you can fit them just fine, there is a provided 2" bit of tubing you're suppose to insert into the air filter but the instructions don't tell you this either, and there is no mention of the relief valve and how to operate it which is mentioned as part of the initial setup test. It seems like its good quality and it's functional for a quieter air compressor for a nail gun and air hammer and cleaning debris with an air tool but it lacks the cfm for things like impacting and spraying. I'll keep it until i really need to upgrade to a larger model for spray painting.

Very quiet, high quality compressor
The next generation of compressors, it's crazy how quiet this thing is compared to the SIP it replaced
