Ideal for a road trips, and left in the car, rather than a day at the beach as it's a bit big to lug about. Ice lasts 2-3 days, think of it as a cold store. I buy a 2 KG ice bag from a garage and put them in a Lomo Dry bag. * The lid is strong enough to sit or stand on * Catches are really nice to use with one hand. * Strap is fine for a short walk. * Tall enough for wine bottles * Will keep drinks cool for up to 4 days, ice lasts 2-3 days Overall I love it, well worth the cost.

Le top, pas trop encombrant mais assez large pour quelques jours en tente. Avec 2 pains de glace Yeti, ça tiens le froid 3-4 jours.

You pay your money you take your choice. After a lot of searching, reading reviews and procrastination I decided to pay for reputation and if I ended up paying a bit more for the name then so be it. And it is a very well built fit for purpose product. I was using ice packs rather than loose ice but there's no point me saying anything about times and temperatures because there are just too many variables. I'm an engineer and I was happy enough with the performance. Of course I've no idea if a cheaper one without the Yeti name would have done just as well. Sorry!
