Works perfectly 2017 Mazda CX-5 WITH BOSE!!!!
I know it says it doesn't work with Bose systems, but that's clearly a mistake. I took a chance based on other's reviews and am perfectly happy with the success. The plugs for both the factory harness and into the TAU fit perfectly, the RCA leveler, albeit cheap looking/feeling works fine. This easily plugs into the harness in a 2017 CX-5 AWD Grand Touring behind the glove box against the outside wall. Just unclip the factory BOSE harness (this is pre amp signal too!), and plug this in between. I tucked the box further down and ran RCA cables and remote wire under foot well of passenger side, around the center console on the bottom and to the drivers side seat where I hooked up a powered underseat subwoofer from Rockville available https://www.amazon.com/Rockville-RW8CA-Under-Seat-Amplified-Subwoofer/dp/B073W5ZMWN/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=uss8+rockville&qid=1620652771&sr=8-3. This adapter took all of 5 minutes to install and saved me a good hour of splicing into the harness in very close quarters. Thank you PAC!

2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring with Bose
Great product! I have essentially zero experience installing stereos and have always had a buddy help me in the past. Installing the LOC was always the worst part as I've found you can never fully trust wiring diagrams in terms of how a color is described. I couldn't find a wiring diagram for my vehicle so I read the reviews on this and decided I'd give it a try despite the mixed results of whether or not it worked on Bose and if the remote amp turn-on wire works. Needless to say, this thing works on with my Bose system and the remote amp turn-on worked as well without cutting any wires. I simply connected the remote wire coming out of this interface straight to my amp and bam! I really only encountered one problem and that was trying to get the factory harness out so I could plug it into the interface. Maybe I was being stupid, but just to help anyone else out that gets this, in my vehicle, the harness I needed was located where many others have said. You need to take out the glove box (very simple, just Youtube how to change your cabin air filter). As you are looking at the glove box compartment, a little bit to the right there should be a silver box. I had two harnesses connected to mine. One was smaller and was pretty much invisible until I stuck my head in and looked down. The smaller one is not the one you want. You want to hook into the bigger one. My issue came in trying to get the harness out. There is a tiny piece of plastic that is visible that I thought was the release clip and I spent a good thirty minutes trying to get it out using that. Eventually, I was able to get my phone into a good enough spot to take a picture of the back side of the harness (part closest to the vehicle's outer body and voila!). Found the clip. Took about 5 minutes to get it out after that as it is in there pretty tight. My advice is just to hold the clip and tug slightly to get it started and then slowly pull out the top area and bottom area a little at a time. Once it is out, plug in what you just pulled out into the orange connector on the interface, and then plug the interface's white connector back into the TAU. Couple pictures attached. Hopefully they help. I actually hacked another reviewer's photo as it definitely helped me out. I added a couple captions in it though. Ran all of my other wires and hooked everything up and my sub is actually louder and has much cleaner sounding bass than my setup in my previous Mazda 3 where I had done the aforementioned LOC hook-in. Some reviews say this doesn't work with Bose and the remote wire doesn't work and maybe it didn't for them, but for my '17 CX-5 w/ Bose, I couldn't be more pleased. 100% worked exactly as described.

Works flawlessly in Toyota Yaris
PAC AOEM-MAZ2 is ideal to add a subwoofer to the factory installed radio. It fits perfectly my 2019 Toyota/Mazda Yaris sedan. Easy to install, it takes literally 5 minutes (a couple minutes more if you are meticulous as me). Just remove the glove box (like if you are changing the cabin air filter) and the clip secured cover under the glove box. No tools required at all, just your bare hands. It is basically plug and play. It will be totally invisible. Signal quality out of this little box is undoubtedly good for a subwoofer. I haven't tried for midrange speakers. Also, I didn't try to adjust gain, but can be done. I'm using the rca and remote outputs to feed an amplified Cerwin Vega 12" spare tire subwoofer (I will do the review for that too). Best product ever, since you don't have to cut any wire. If you want to remove it in the future for any reason, just unplug it and connect again the factory plug to the radio amplifier unit.

Works perfect
Works perfectly on 2015 Mazda 3 factory radio (non bose) for installing a underseat subwoofer, even the remote signal works.

Works in 2017 Mazda CX-5 with Bose
Good product; I used it in 2017 Mazda CX-5 with Bose. Yes, it does work just fine regardless the description stating "without Bose". I have to mention that I did replace the Bose app with an aftermarket sound processor, but regardless of that, it did provide proper line level outputs even when the Bose amp was still installed; the interface taps into factory harness after headhunt but before Bose. The only issue with the interface was that 2 power wires that connect two intermediate connectors installed in the vehicle were way undersized. To better explain it, one needs to unplug a single connector on the vehicle (the connector has 10-12 gauge power wires), and plug it into one of the interface connectors while plugging a second matching connector from the interface back into the vehicle. Those two connectors were connected by the 16-18 gauge undersized wires. Look at black and yellow end wires on factory harness connector and the interface. Not good. It did work the way it came from the factory (I drove with it a bit like that and though the radio reception was weaker, but that was only my perception so it may or may not have been true). So to eliminate all doubts I actually decided to disassemble both wire connectors and solder an extra 12 gauge wires on top of existing ones. There was a reason why Mazda installed this kind of 10-12 wires so I was not going to undermine the whole system design by introducing a bottleneck with thin power wires. The soldering procedure would not be for everyone (while not complex, it was time consuming, required soldering tools, and got a bit tricky to get to the connector pins out). Another picture shows extra (yellow thick) wire I had to solder to the existing wires on both sides, just to match Mazda's wire gauge. At the end and after the mod though, it worked great in the vehicle and I have been happy with it so far (a few months already).

and yes it was good one, I ordered add on fuse piggy back ...
Well I finally installed the PAC interface module, and yes the remote trigger does not power up, you will have to run remote trigger off the fuse panel, and yes it was good one, I ordered add on fuse piggy back link, and it kept everything factory looking which is to my surprise is pretty good. The Alpine MRF 350 mono amp and the Kenwood 12" sub in the sealed box installed pretty good . After all said and done the device does work with 2014 Mazda 3 I sport sedans without the Bose systems. I was impressed and I still am going back and amplify the front MB QUART separates soon here. Overall after waiting and going at and holdingback and not going off the deep end and spend $299 - $400 on dsp processors from makers like jl audio or audio control. This setup works fine with me, and like I said take your time, things come to fall in place and most importantly of all do your diligence on research. Ty PAC AUDIO 😉

Works Fine in 2015 Mazda 6 Touring (Non Bose)
2015 Mazda 6 Touring (Non Bose) Worked exactly as described. I Used the PAC AOEM-MAZ2 to add an Alpine KTP445U Amplifier, a Powered Bazooka Subwoofer BTA8100FHC and New Kicker 41KSC354 Tweeter/Dash Speakers (with a PAC BB5PR Bass Blocker), Polk Audio Speakers in all 4 doors. As Indicated, you have to tap into the red accessory wire (See attached diagram) to the Amp Accessory On line wire. I also didn't want to re-wire all the speakers as my set up is not real high end, So I simply fed the post (Out) amplifier speaker wires back into the brown connector and cut the connections between the provided Brown and White Connectors. (Ie: Captured Audio out from white harness, fed to amp in. Amp out, tapped into brown harness speaker input with pass through to all 4 speakers) The Bazooka Sub was patched into the Pre-Amplifier feed of the front speakers and the Amps Accessory On line. Finished my job as the Sun was setting and didn't get to setup the Gain, High Pass Filters, Sub Response Levels. But I look forward to doing that Tmrw. So far, my set up sounds amazing, a great improvement over the factory speakers. Cause we like the cars, the cars that go Boom. :-)

It works 100%! Mazda 6 Touring 2016 non-bose
So after discovering this Plug-n-play from PAC i decided to DIY the amp install on my Mazda, Everything works 100% out of the box, Amp turn on, and the stock speaker wiring splicing and tapping to like many other review's here on amazon did. i used Solder Seal Wire Connectors to "solder" the wires. only two cons with this product: The wires are super thin like 20AWG so that would possibly limit the amount of power you can away with on the stock speaker wires. and 2nd tiny issue is that the LOC gains were set all over the place right of the box, so i set them all to 50% before installing. This is by the far the easiest way to install an amp and sub to any newish mazda, so i really appriciate this product and recommend it 100% regardless of the two minor cons mentioned.

Want an amp in your Mazda 6, GET THIS!
What an absolute awesome product. Having a Mazda 6 has been a pain in the rear. After buying 2 android head units and realising neither worked with Can bus properly. The upper display never worked with them. Back to stock. But this amazing bit of kit allows me to use stock stereo and rig up an amp and extra speakers. No splicing cables, no messing around. No non working components I'm the car. Can bus intact. A very happy bunny. Thanks Amazon!

Works on 2015 Mazda 3
This works on a 2015 Mazda 3 SP25. It plugged into the amp located behind the trim on the drivers side (RHD) footwell. The remote wire for amplifiers also works.
