Other then the looks.** A: The model# BDCDMT120C has a LED work light on the base of the handle that is only activated when you use the drill. There is also a magnetic drill bit holder located behind the attachment release button and additional air vents. The black color on this model's drill/screwdriver attachment mask scuff marks also the grey/sliver area has much better coating then the non 'C' model. This model is orange and black the non 'C' model is red and black. This drill is "too sexy for my work". I love this thing! The model# BDCDMT120 has no LED work light no magnetic drill bit holder no additional air vents and the drill/screwdriver attachment is not better coated. It does have a non magnetic snap-on/off drill bit holder located at the base of the handle. **Q: Are there any onther brands(aside from craftsman) that has this kind of product? and which one is better this or the crafstman bolt on?** A: They are both Black & Decker designed. B&D showed a version to Craftsman and Craftsman bought the right to sell that version for a year or so, with B&D holding off on their version. Now both products are on the market and have mostly interchangeable parts excluding the housing. If I were to venture a guess there may be better quality control on the Craftsman. All attachments from both brands are interchangeable, but Craftsman sells some attachments that B&D doesn't. **Q: Is there anything (other than color, spare bit placement, and logo) that make this different than the original Matrix?** A: It has improved cooling for the motor to prevent some heating issues the original one had after extended continuous use. It also has an led light that shines up from the base like the dewalt drills **Q: What's the difference between this and the ldx220sb/ldx120c?** A: This new version put a light on it and added a magnetic catch on the top for a second bit to work. The Matrix lineup is great for a DIYer, homestead, or small farm looking for a versatile tool lineup without breaking the bank. Definitely not as powerful or durable as a dedicated Milwaukee or Makita drill that can survive years of daily use on a jobsite, but that's not its purpose. I've built a lot of stuff on our property (house reno, shed build, etc) with it already and am quite happy with it.
