I ordered this after I bought a bar on vacation and used it all up. Wonderful scent not harsh or chemical smell. Fresh and clean soft smell. I also love the body butter and bath bombs. My daughter and my favorite! Looks cool too.

I don't typically review things; I don't know why, I just don't. But this soap has actually inspired me to write this so here goes.I'm a guy; I'm not supposed to care about soap. I've used regular, classic Dove forever. But I got a bar of Old Whaling Co. soap for Christmas in 2019, used it, and loved it. I didn't think about it again (went back to Dove) until last Christmas rolled around (sparking the memory) and I decided to see if Amazon carried it. Obviously, they do.I went with the 5-bar set, since it brings the per-bar price down to $6 instead of $7 (single bar price).This stuff is awesome -- great scents, amazing lather, and I've never felt this clean from a soap before. Even the Oatmeal one, which has real oatmeal in it (!), is terrific. Plus, I love that they're hand-made and use natural ingredients. I think that's worth paying a little extra for.The ONLY drawback is that they get used up rather quickly. I ordered this 5-pack 2 months ago and it's almost gone -- that's 2 people showering once a day each. I estimate a little over 2 weeks per bar given the same usage. Obviously, if there's only one of you using the soap, or you shower less than once a day, it'll last longer. But you know what, even if I could take off half-stars on the ratings, I still wouldn't for that -- that's how much I love the soap.I say give it a try! I just reordered my 2nd 5-pack!

I gave the bars away individually as an extra Christmas present. I know they will love the bars.

First off I'm a dude, and maybe I'm not supposed to get excited about soap. I had purchased a bar from another realier a while back and loved it. Glad to find them on Amazon. All the scents are great. Not too strong, but unisex and pleasant. The bars are well made and on the larger side. I can't put my finger on it. But there is something about this company's soap that reminds me of soap when I was a kid. The feel, smell, and after feel.

This magnolia fragrance is one of the best ones from Old Whaling!!! It’s so fresh, clean, light and long lasting!! I want more!!!

I first bought the variety pack and found that the Seabury and rose clay is my favorite scented soap. Oh and it works really well as soap to... if your into that kind of thing

This soap is wonderful!!! Everything I get from The Old Whaling Company has been fabulous! The soap makes your skin feel clean and soft without residue. It also lasts for a long time while retaining it’s scent. I won’t ever be buying any other kind of soap! Also, their Body Butters are great! I have bought these for family and friends and everyone loves them. The customer service is wonderful and shipping is fast. You will love everything about this company and their products.
