LE 1 Watt LED Downlights, 12 Volt Low Voltage, Recessed Lighting, Cool White

I bought couple of these around a year back to install them under a high cabinet in my new kitchen. Was installing them this weekend (kitchen remodel took a while) when I connected these two to a 12v 4A adapter one of the lights stopped working and it smelt of something burned. The other piece is still working. Will be ordering another one (maybe an extra too) as I already have cut out made under the cabinet to install two of these. Hope the new ones lasts longer. But otherwise the finish and the brightness(cool white) of this product are very nice.

Any idea when these will be back in stock? I'd like to order more as backups for when my current ones burn out. One of the lights I ordered previously was delivered burnt out otherwise would be five starts.

Looked to be an excellent unit. They were unfortunately smaller than expected and I had to return.

tried these units as halogen spot replacements but were not quite bright enough (85Lm). A halogen replacement should have about 180Lm brightness. The units were very well made and sturdy.

Surprisingly bright for 1 watt! Good build quality and easy to connect with the companion adaptor/transformer. Seems (to me) to be a reasonable price. I got the ‘cool white’ and think it looks great. The ‘warm’ white is a bit too yellow for my taste. Some to be aware of: these use an attached clamp, not screws to attach. This makes them very easy to insert, but you also need to plan and make sure to account for the space/thickness for the springs. I bought one to test, and will be ordering another 6-10 for a project.

there solid aluminum and seel like there built ok but when we lost power and then came back only 1 of the 3 lights work now.

I am using this in a less traditional way. It happens to fie EXACTLY in the hole for my PT cruisers trunk light, and it is much brighter. The lens does tilt a few degrees. Included was a wiring harness to attach to the plug pictured in the product photos. It was about a 12" lead on my unit. This was nice as I hardwired the harness and now have an easy way to replace the light if I happen to leave it on for 50000 hours.

I ordered 6 of these lights and the transformer. There are no plugs you have to cut the wire off and hardwire them together. Not only is this a very cheap way of doing this, Only 2 of the 6 even worked. I returned them and will not try these again.

If you google display lighting you will see lots of lights similar to this which cost far more. I've fitted 4 of these and so far have had no issues.

These 1W LED downlights look great in cool white and mixed with lighting ever's warm white downlights they create a great mix of colour.
