Works Great, where others failed!
I purchased this and the bio side auto shocker. I had honestly thought the auto shocker would work best and used it first. It did not work at all. I used it to get an old car smell out of a 2000 Chrysler that has been well-maintained and owned by my in-laws, however, just smelled musty. I use this about four days later and it actually smells like a new car (although a little strong). I was very impressed. I would definitely buy this product again. I never write reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised I felt that I had to.

This stuff works
I bought a new car and the second day I got it home, I noticed it smelled like smoke but not cigarette smoke if you know what I mean. Be careful, it’s very strong. Even when you just open the lid it is a very strong smell but it works! Super easy to use and effective. I got the new car scent and i personally think it smells like a new car.

WARNING SOAKS EVERYTHING!!
This product has very little smell, but my main concern is how WET it left my entire SUV... I followed the directions to the last WORD and the ceiling of my car was DRIPPING, my touch screen was soaked (needless to say it isn't working properly now).. I'm going to reach out to the seller/manufacturer if I need to bring my vehicle in for repairs. There is NO WARNING saying it can do this.. I've used countless other car bombs and they all worked perfectly, I saw reviews for this one and gave it a try!! Now I know better to try something new 🤷

Smells much better!
Super easy to set off. But beware it spits quite a distance and it advises to place a towel under can which we did but still had some clean up. Took the smell out of the car

Amazing!!!
So…my wife of 42 years wanted steak and lobster for Mother’s Day. I bought several 1-1/2” thick ribeyes and fresh lobster tails at the local market to grill at my son’s house so we could make it a family affair. At the end of the night we had a couple steaks and one lobster tail left over. Fast forward 2 weeks through a heat wave in Las Vegas. My Jeep had sat since the night of the BBQ. I decided to make a run to the store and when I opened the drivers side door I was about knocked unconscious from a horrendous stench inside the Jeep. After a short search for the source of the smell, I located an upside down, half open zip lock bag containing a single lobster tail wedged between the passenger seatbelt clip and the center console. The juices had run down the console and saturated the carpet under the seat. I removed the baggie and cleaned up the mess. I used a popular deodorizer/disinfectant spray on the entire interior of the Jeep with no success. Even tried a name brand freshener bomb with the same result. Neither could not even put a dent in the smell. I found and ordered Dakota Oder Bomb after a short Amazon search. As soon as the delivery driver dropped it at my front door, I immediately read the instructions, placed it in the cup holder of the console and let it do its thing. I let the Jeep sit with the windows up for 24 hours before I opened the doors to see if it worked. The smell was gone!!! The only mistake I made was not turning on the AC to let it circulate through the AC ducting and vents. The only time I smell any remnants of the lobster is when I turn on the AC. The Oder Bomb instructions say to turn off the AC and heat before the bomb is activated. I believe the instructions are written for using it in a house or building. If using it for an automobile, I would recommend to turn on the engine with the AC on and in the recirculate mode so no outside air is sucked into the car. Let it run for 10-15 minutes after the can had emptied its contents, then shut it off, close the door and let the car sit for a while; the length depends on how bad the Oder is.

“New Car Scent“ Smells like a cherry flavored medicine
The New Car Scent smells more like cherry cough syrup. Also, I followed the directions but I think it needed to be on an elevated surface (see pic). Just a heads up, don’t put it where I put it lol. Overall not bad, car doesn’t smell like dog and old milk any more (I shampoos first, that didn’t get the smell out so I bought one of these for lingering odors). Definitely effective but they should work on renaming the scents.

Dead mouse rancid smell killer!
I have a sports car that I rarely drive and primarily stays in the garage. When I opened the door for the first time in several months, I was almost knocked out from the rancid stench. Apparently a mouse somehow got in at some point this summer and decided to make a home in it. Fortunately, he didn't chew up an wires, as I have heard nightmare stories about that. Unfortunately for him and me he passed away at some point and decomposed on the floor mat, likely several months ago in a hot garage. After opening the windows and vacuuming the mess he made (with an N95 mask on), I tried several household products that kill germs and eliminate odors. They were no match for this smell. Then I found this product on Amazon. After following the directions I and letting the car sit overnight, my car no longer has the smell of death. It has been several weeks and still hasn't come back, just the smell of this product. Others have commented that they don't like the smell, but I don't mind it. Kind of a "spicy" new car smell. A few recommendations: I started with spraying the inside of my trunk with several quick blasts and then closing it. When pressing down to "lock" the spray nozzle, don't cover the hole with your finger as the product shoots straight up and it will spray your finger and not lock properly. Once you lock, it begins to spray and you are on the clock! Also, protect the area directly underneath from potential foam and overspray, I placed mine in a smaller cardboard box. Also, if you have a smaller car, protect the headliner or convertible top directly above as the spray will also coat it and it is slightly oily. Good luck! Oh, and I am also keeping a mouse trap in my garage now!
