Heartwarming tale
One of my very favorite books that I read to my kids when they were small. So much more than a childhood story though. Really illustrates the difference in personalities-not just young and old but the different kinds of folks in this wide world. Take time to count the spots on the ladybugs. βΊοΈπ

Cute enough story, but doesn't answer any questions
I thought this book would answer children's questions about the world. Unfortunately, it does not, so I'll need to return it. So glad I read it before gifting it. It's a cute enough story, but it raises questions and then doesn't answer any of them.

Buyer beware of used books.
This book was listed as very good. The spine needed to be taped and there is a large inscription in ink on the front inside cover from someone to someone else. I am unable to use this as it is.

Classic.
This book is out of print now, I used it to get my kids "permission" to question adults and the world around them. It inspires me every time I read it to my class.

Great book for second graders who have lots of questions
Great book for second graders who have lots of questions, but are sometimes to anxious to sit and listen for the answer! :)

A Wonderful Book for Educators
This wonderful little picture book speaks to children and adults alike. The interaction between the two characters, an exuberant little rabbit who wants to know everything that the world can teach and old donkey who has forgotten the excitement of discovery, is beautifully crafted. Why do we teach? The answers are in this childrens book, which will bring a smile to your face. I was so pleased that this book can still be purchased through Amazon as it is hard to find. It is a must have for a classroom teacher.

Great Book
A great book for children. My daughter checked this out in her school library, and it became her favorite book. Unfortunately we found it is out of print in the US, but were able to find it, (fortunately) on amazon. She has been asking for this book for a long time. An endearing story with a rabbit and a donkey.

Fantastic book for all ages!
This is a lovely story about the old grumpy donkey who wants to teach the bouncy, young rabbit... if only he could sit still! A reminder of how much our young have to teach us oldies and how we have to adapt our ways to share our knowledge with them. A joyful read all round!
