Classic Soap, Nostalgic Fragrance
Pears isn’t the soap I use every day, but I like to treat myself with it now and then for a bit of variety at the sink. I mostly use it on my hands and face, and even with my skin leaning dry, it feels gentle and doesn’t leave me feeling uncomfortable afterwards. It lathers up well and the translucent orange bar looks so much nicer than the way some bars turn slimy white after a few uses. The fragrance is classic and nostalgic too, always reminding me of being at my grandparents’ house when I was a kid.

CLEANSING NOT DRYING
Pears soap is one of the best soaps in my opinion. I’ve used it for a while now on both my body and face. I have eczema and sensitive skin so finding a product that didn’t react with my skin in an adverse way was very difficult... that is until I found this. I use it in the mornings to wash my face and it leaves my skin feeling CLEAN but NOT DRIED OUT. I then follow this with my moisturiser and etc. I only use the original one because there’s no extras put into the bar PLUS the price is unbeatable!

A BIT DISAPPOINTED. NOT QUITE THE SAME AS IT USED TO BE AND A BIT DRYING TO THE SKIN.
OK as a soap goes but not exactly as I remember it. The smaller size has been explained (removal of air, less packaging etc) but the smell is not quite the same as before, and I find that after using it fora number of days, the skin on my face and hands has become quite dry, which is not what I expected at all. The soap looks good and does lather well but unfortunately it is not my soap of choice.

I ve been using dove for years and my skin always felt tight and scalely. I had a bar of pears in the draw and thought I'd give it a go. The first time I washed my hands with pears it was amazing. After drying my hands they still felt clean and moisturised. I tried pears in the shower. Amazing, my skin felt wonderful and the smell is light but still there. I've now replaced all my soaps with pears soap and have purchased the other different scents available

A good price for product but I didn't realize I would need to pay postage as I am a Prime member. Total cost was not economic when I took this into consideration. Post to WA was unfortunately slow.
