Great pair of binoculars!!
Wanted an upgrade from my earlier Olympus 7X35 binoc. So searched online for binocs which provided weather proof design and features as the use of the binoc was gonna be mostly in jungle area with lots of dust and rain and fog. After quite a searching, found these pair of binocs. Having experienced binocs from different brands, had got trust in olympus binocs for their great quality and true to life colour production of the object. This pair does what it's supposed to do. The light it gathers is decent enough for viewing objects even after sunset. The objects are clear and sharp and sometimes looks sharper than reality. Field of view is not too wide or narrow. As it's weather proof, you wont face any difficulties in seeing it during rainy days or in scorching and windy summer.Great pair of binocular if you do lot of trekking, roaming in nature, bird watching, etc.

Good roof-prism binoculars for birders
This binocular does not figure much in forums and reviews on the net. I own one and will most certainly recommend it for Bird-Watchers. For those on a tight budget and strung by the size of porro-prism binoculars, this one is an excellent choice. It presents a very sharp and bright image. The colour rendition is natural. You can compare this one's performance with other makes of roof-prism binoculars that may cost up to twice as much. Let me assure that this one punches well beyond it's weight.

Magnifica optica a precio contenido.
Nitidez cortante en todo el campo de imagen.Muy luminoso. Peso relativamente bajo en relacion a mis Steiner. Calidad extraordinaria por menos de 350 euros. Mi opinion es que superan los Nikon.

Great for eyeglass wearers
Very pleased with these Olympus binoculars - clear, bright, reasonably compact and best of all they work well while keeping my glasses on, which is essential for me. Being waterproof is a plus. The eye cups screw in for use with eyeglasses and out for use with the naked eye. The cups can be left in either position when the lens caps are replaced. We have an old pair of binoculars specifically made for eyeglass wearers, but that manufacturer is long gone. The plus of this other pair is that it had an extension on the eye side that rested on your nose, so that you did not have to press the binoculars against the lenses of your glasses as you do with this Olympus pair. Yet, this pair is brighter and has sharper focus than that older set, and I do not see the eye cups scratching my lenses unless they might already have some kind of abrasive dust on them. Looking at the roof of a house 1/4 mile away as a comparison test, every detail of the roof shingles was in focus with these binoculars, compared to my older, similarly priced pair.Watching a herd of elk this morning, the clarity and brightness of these Olympus binoculars were wonderful. Highly recommended.

Nice upgrade and much less expensive than similar products
I painstakingly compared this to the similar Nikon 8x42 roof prism binoculars and decided this is every bit as good for much less money. The lenses you hold up to your eyes are so much larger and brighter than other binoculars I've used. I'm really happy with these.

Arguably the best 8x42 binoculars available at any price
I have never written a product review before, but my expectations for these binoculars were so under estimated that I felt the need to write a few words. At a selling price of $200.00 I understood the possible quality limitations. However I foundEye relief to be absolutely excellent, especially for eye glass users.Image clarity and brightness are spot on, certainly in part because of the wide field of view.My shipped example was optically perfectly aligned for superb sharpness once focused.Kudos to Olympus producing for a very high quality compact sized product.
