Southwire Cord-Reel; 4-Outlet Adapter; Black/Yellow; E230

We are still building various projects around the farm and I got tired of navigating through piles of power cords that want to strangle your feet! So, I picked up this reel. Boy, is it nice! It’s lightweight, but easily handled my elderly, stiff 100 ft extension cord. The plug goes into an outlet in the very center, then you wind everything up nice and neat. The whole reel lets off the length you need to get from the starting power receptacle and then you simply plug in whatever tool you need on the side. Flip on the power button on the side and you’re good to go. No piles of cord, it’s all neat and nice. I’m very happy!

This keeps my cords organized very well, and I love how easy it is to wind them up or unwind them for use. I would definitely buy again, it's a quality product that is well made and worth having just to keep the tangled mess of cables off your floor and put it into a neat nice organized space. In fact Im going to order another one right now, for another extension cord I bought. Just buy it, you'll be glad you did.

Got this to keep a heavy duty cord wrapped up for when we have power outages and it has worked pretty well each time. Its a nice cheap cord reel that also lets you plug in up to four things. Only downside I think is that it might not have wiring inside that could handle to many heavy duty electronics all plugged in at once. For me I only use 2 of the outlets most of the time and maybe a third to power a small item. I may look into something more heavy duty in the future but for now it works just fine.

Using for 50 foot soft plastic small diameter tubing for my Mother's oxygen machine. Hand wrapping it was getting twisted & crushed & was difficult to do, especially with family member who isn't very dexterus. I ordered two styles, this expensive (to me) one & a much cheaper orange plastic one with the 'center spin handle' as an integral part inside the spool with no framework or base. That was awkward to hold, & hard to coordinate. This was pricey $22.94 (for my use as a spool) but well worth it Sorry I can't attest to the electrical plug aspect, but for the rest it's fantastic. It's very well made, sturdy, looks sharp, works like a charm, the cord doesn't twist or collapse anymore & has worked well for my repurposed application. When we eventually no longer need it for the oxygen condenser, we can use it for our outdoor heavy duty extension cords as it was intended. I'll try to add in photos later if I can. Nice! Was getting really annoyed with my extension cord being in the way all the time without having it organized and looked for a solution. Came across this cord wheel which was decently priced compared to others. Perfect for my private use. Quality is decent. Certainly gets the job done. Easy to use. You just plug the one end of the cord into the wheel and start wheeling the rest in. Done. Had no problems so far. Hope it stays like this. Happy to have my extension cord organized now!

First....this thing feels ok when handled, the outlets feel a little flimsy. The handle is comfortable. Overall ok, decent thing. Few things to think about: 1 - the knob to turn the wheel is rather short, you will likely bang your hand against the yellow handle. 2 - handle is too close to the spool, closer than the corners, it is safer to hold the unit by one of the legs than by the handle 3 - you can't buy a 70 foot extension cord, so the 70 foot rating on 14 gauge cord is bogus, unless you do something like wind 5 12 footers connected end to end or a 50 footer followed by 12 footer. I have wound a 100 foot 14 gauge on this thing and it barely fits. The main issue is the yellow handle being way too low to the spool

Works good tight fit for a 50ft extension cord.
