Solid sub panel
My electrician recommended this brand and after I mounted it near my recently-upgraded pool equipment, he was impressed with it.Pros:- solid build- plenty of mounting options- tight weather protected door/with solid latch- well pricedCons:- One drawback is that the space it designates for an outlet doesn't leave room for one, which I initially found irritating. Ultimately I didn't mind the design flaw because I don't want to leave the panel door open for an extension cord for any length of time. We had a separate weather proof outlet installed next to it.

Quality panel, missing wall brackets :(
Most everything is as it was supposed to be. I've used a dozen or so in the last few years. 1st time with this company through Amazon. Missing the wall brackets wasn't the end of the world, but I did take the time to build a simple spacer. That's why 4 and not 5 stars.

Not a good replacement for a T20004R…
Intermatic advertises this box as a direct replacement for the T20004R timer box. The problem is that the older (discontinued) box was wider than this box and had five (5) knockouts on the back inside of the box. This box, which Intermatic says is their replacement for it, only has four (4) knockouts on the back side of the box. Yes, there are more knockouts towards the front of the box, but what this means is that if your pool equipment is all wired up through the bottom with five (5) incoming service lines (I.e., pool, spa light, pool light, heater, and electrical outlet) one of your feeds won’t sit flush against the wall like the other four…like they did with the original box. Yes, you can make it work, but Intermatic should have made a box that is ACTUALLY a direct replacement for the older, wider, box which they discontinued. It seems the engineers at Intermatic don’t really think about retrofit installations.
