1. Use 0.9 to 1 ml for every 20 litres of freshwater if dosing in a separate container before adding it to the tank. 2. Scale-up the dosage proportionately as per tank volume (yours 6 litres) if you directly add fresh water to the tank & you dose directly in the tank (I do not recommend this but many follow) 3. Frequency - During every freshwater addition if tap-water is used. If RO water or rainwater is used, no need to use this product. Use some remineralizing product instead. 4. Can it be used for betta fish? Yes, go ahead. No problem.

Can it be used for hard borewell water to make the water soft ???

No, the minerals will remain within, unless you do reverse osmosis. But the hard metals present in traces can be locked and made harmless to the fish
