Google Pixelbook (i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB)

It’s the most beautiful thing I have seen! I knew I’d love it when I saw the box it came in. Taking it out and just being like... WOW 💕 it’s fantastic! Right now I can’t say anything bad about it! Battery time is great, charges so quick it’s surreal and the speed of it blows my mind. Well worth it! Only strange thing is if you allow the battery to die then plug in the charger, it will not restart straight away, you have to wait a good 5-10mins before it starts! There is no warning or noise to remind you but maybe this is something in the settings. Im still figuring out new ways of working with this such as where the delete button is and the little things like that which are different but once you know it makes sense and actually bit like the iPhone, simplified! The seller is fantastic too! Delivery said around 3 weeks but it came in two days! Amazing!

After a day or so of working to set up my files they way I want them, I'm so happy I've made the jump to the Pixel Book. I bought the flagship model after looking for good sales on Amazon. The keyboard is simply exquisite. I have always used Lenovo's and bought them because of the track ball in the center of the keyboard. The track pad on the Pixelbook is awesome!!! It's very intuitive and after a day or so I realized I was effortlessly using it without even thinking what I was doing. I can get an entire day of constant use on a single charge. I usually charge it every 2-3 days. After 2 months I'm still loving this laptop. There are a few querky things you need to figure out with it i.e. no CAP LOCK key and no insert key but there are lots of tutorials available online. Can't say enough good things about this. I also bought a click on protective case for it, but it's kind of a pain if you want to use it in tablet mode as the case prevents folding back flat. Not a big deal

Significantly more user friendly and with better performance than my MacBook Air.

The built, the fit and finish, the screen, the keyboard, the touchpad, how it is still thin and light when it gets folded over, the amazing battery life and performance, most NVME (very fast) storage than other Chromebooks. The list goes on and on! This is the best Pixelbook money can buy in 2020 especially if you like to use a digital pen. I feel this one is best suited for digital artists who also want an amazing keyboard built into their Chromebooks. Chrome OS has really matured and is getting updates and features more than any other Apple OS and Windows. With Web Apps, Android Apps, and Linux built in you will have more ways to accomplish anything in this machine except perhaps heavy duty video editing. Google is even bringing Valve's Steam to the Linux side of Chrome OS for those who like to game. The main complian about this machine is that the pen does not fit I side the body of the machine. Well, I say that's its main advantage!!! The only other machine that comes close to this as of July 2020 is the Red Samsung Chromebook. That one has a horrible battery life relative to this one and its S pen is tiny because it fits inside the body of the device. That turns it's pen into a toy. Pixelbook's pen on the other hand fits perfectly well in my hand ssi hold it and I love that. I bought a nice carry bag for it that protects my precious Pixelbook. The carry bag has two front pouches. I keep the USB C power brick in one pocket and a Microsoft surface mouse, a USB C dongule/hub with multiple ports, and the pen in the other pocket. This way I always have all the necessary accessories with my Pixel book. The higher end models of Pixelbook Go are also great, except you can't use a Pen with the Pixelbook Go. The Pixelbook Core i7 512GB, Pixelbook Go, and the Red Samsung (if you don't mind the tiny stylous and lower battery life), all the only Chromebooks that compete with, and beat Apple and Microsoft in a game that they have had many years of headstart on. This particular model is so ahead of the curve that it has remained just as relevant even though it was released more than a year ago.
