Insulated Medium Super with 10 Wooden Frames with Wax Coated Plastic Foundation. Standard 10 frame Langstroth sized super for bee hives

Love the item test fit it with my other hives that are the plastic insulated work great but it only goes with one style not full styles I says I can figure out so far.

First year bee keeper with experience in other apiaries using top bar and wooden langstroth hives. So far I am enjoying my experience with these plastic insulated hives. Definitely easier to move pieces about. Only wish you had a choice of foundationless frames.

Can’t go wrong with these. Great for winter bees. Here in Iowa, it gets super cold below zero and bees survive. I’m up to 6 of these. Speedy but worth it..

The medium super did come with the frames and with the wax coated plastic foundation. They fit the Apimaye 10 Frame Insulated Bee Hive and latched onto it securely. Unfortunately there are two issues with these, one is a design flaw and is why I rated the items with only 4 out of 5 stars. The issues are:(1) These do not have usable handles that would facilitate moving the box when full of honey. The company should have made handles like the deep supers that came with the Apimaye 10 Frame Insulated Bee Hive have. I bought the mediums because they are not as heavy as the deep boxes, sadly without handles they are going to be a bit harder to handle than anticipated. This, in my opinion is a design flaw.(2) The Apimaye 10 Frame Langstroth Insulated Bee Hives came with four frame spaces, two per box, but these did not come with any spacers. The spacers are a really nice touch and would have been nice to have. I did not reduce my rating because of there not being frame spacers, I just mention it because the hives did come with them and they can be easily moved but it would have been nice to not have to move them.Overall, I am excited to put these into action then spring arrives. Also, I will be purchasing more in the future when / if I need more honey supers.
