I am always a little cautious when buying flatware as I have had both the best and worst experiences. When I saw the description and picture of this product, I immediately loved it, it was exactly the style I was looking for. But, I was concerned that the inset area would get food caught in it and would be hard to clean (I know, it is a weird thing to worry about but when you are the one washing the dishes, it matters!)I decided to give it a try and purchase it. To my delight, this set is fantastic. The set is solid in its construction, well balanced and well made. I was very surprised at the weight of each piece -- not to heavy where you get a workout lifting your fork and are tired after one bite and not so light you feel as if you might as well be eating with your fingers -- the weight is just right. And the design is really versatile. It works as an every-day set and goes with my dinner party set too, aka "the fancy stuff."And the best part, no food stays caught in the center! There is no seam between the matte and satin finish areas, it is a smooth beveled edge. When you throw it in the dishwasher there is no scrubbing necessary and no dried food particulars left behind. That is worth the price alone!

I ordered this set so that I could see what it was like without making a huge investment. I love it! The pieces are high-quality and actually serving size (not just a taf bit larger than the tableware), I will be ordering the flatware to match. It’s a sleek design, yet with a little bit of curve and style. I will review the tableware once it has some use and a few washings.

This set is both great looking and functional! The business-ends are well shaped (the spoons being a little larger than average), and the handles are appropriately weighted (rarely flip off plates or out of bowls) while still feeling solid in the hand. I personally find the "dunes" pattern on the handle to be extremely pleasant both in appearance and to the touch.Also, unlike the first silverware-set I purchased, this set contains the proper nickel content to avoid forming rust-spots, which as far as I'm concerned should be required before advertising a product as "stainless" steel. If you're looking at other silverware, make sure it's "18/10" stainless steel, and not the cheap/dysfunctional "18/0" stainless steel! (the numbers are the percentage of chromium and nickel, so "18/0" means they're trying to con the buyer by not including nickel; if you can't find a number at all, assume it's 18/0 stainless steel)

Beautiful tableware. Not thin or cheap, dull, etc. Worth the money. Beautiful appearance.

Absolutely beautiful set! I’ve had it since July and it is holding up incredibly well. It is extremely well-made, I love the weight. I think this is the most beautiful silverware I have ever owned.

The set is beautiful and a good weight. The knives are terrible. They stained the first time I used them (they did not sit in the sink, they were washed immediately after use), they were not used with an acid food and I cannot get the stain off. It looks like they were hand dried with streaks running down the blade. I washed them three times and dried them and the streaks will not go away. They do not cut well and are a lighter wright than the rest of the pieces. Other than the knives the set is wonderful.
