Worked wonderfully on my 13 years old, built-in Kitchen-aid fridge. I have no appliance repair experience (business woman and mom), but with the help of YouTube, I was able to narrow the issue down to the auger motor, find this part and replace. I was told by a repairman that fixing the ice dispenser on my Kitchenaid built-in would require replacing the door and it would be hundreds of dollars. I eventually found this. It's four screws to remove the plastic cover over the motor bay (in the door) and another four to remove the motor itself.I popped this in and with little hope tried the ice dispenser. Worked like a charm. I'm the household hero. This is good value for what appears to be identical to the OEM.

Very easy repair plug and play

It's a perfect fit for my Whirlpool fridge. Ii could have had an "original" or the 2nd iteration,, but i chose this, the most updated model...it worked perfectly and online instructions were very helpful with the installation...which took about 30 minutes! other than having to lay down on my back to install the new one, it was an extremely easy install....and, IT WORKS!

I mean, what can you say. It did the job—relatively easy to install and now our ice maker works again.
