Review: Check the compatibility list and then buy- works for older cameras. - Check the compatibility list. for my Nikon Df , it works with Nikon wireless mobile unit app on iOS but not with the newer snap bridge app. It is slow in transferring files and the LCD live view switches off as soon as you connect this.works quickest with manual focus on the app or using camera to focus. Surprisingly, it is most useful with another app called qDSLRdashboard. That software isa freeware available for Android, Windows and even Mac OS X but not iOS (as yet- at least in the Indian store) It is tiny and handy, I like it but I don't think I will use it much. Review: Awesome - Bought for Rs.995 for Nikon D3200. For the first day I had to struggle to make it work in sync in downloading pictures from the camera to smart phone. Next day I reduced the no. of pictures to 600 in the camera and viola it was a breeze. The smart phone after syncing will show the pictures in the camera. You have the option to select the pictures and once you hit the download button, the pictures start downloading from the camera to the phone. As a remote operator, you will not be able to utilize all the functions of the camera, only you have to manually zoom to the subject and can release the shutter from the phone. Your smart phone will act as a view-finder and you can immediately see the picture taken. I will mainly use this device to download the pictures to my smart phone which is a easier process when you don't have access to your laptop or PC. ## Features - Automatically send great images to your smartphone or tablet - Use your smartphone or tablet to capture images from your D3200 - Easy transfer, easy sharing - Compatible with Android OS 2.3, 3.x, 4.x (smartphones) android OS 3.0 or later (Tablets) or iOS versions 5.1 or 5.1.1 (iPhone and iPad) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007VGGIB6 | | Box Contents | Wireless Adapter | | Brand | Nikon | | Brand Name | Nikon | | Colour | black | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone, Tablet | | Connector Type | wireless | | Current Rating | 1 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 5,169 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00018208270811 | | Input Voltage | 24 Volts | | Item Dimensions | 9 x 10 x 5 Centimeters | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 0.04 Kilograms | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 9 x 10 x 5 Centimeters | | Manufacturer | Nikon | | Manufacturer Part Number | 27081 | | Model Number | WU-1a | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 1 | | Power Plug Type | No Plug | | Product Finish Type | Metallic | | Specific Uses For Product | Camera | | UPC | 018208270811 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Compatible Devices:** Tablet, Smartphone - **Specific Uses For Product:** Camera - **Connector Type:** wireless - **Colour:** black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 18 x 20 x 10 Millimeters ## Images ![Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter for Nikon Digital SLRs - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61w6vewuSSL.jpg) ![Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter for Nikon Digital SLRs - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/518cqUnyqIL.jpg) ![Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter for Nikon Digital SLRs - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31tgdHcnOPL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is it compatable with d610** A: Nikon 1 S2, Df, D7100, D5200, D3200 / COOLPIX A, P7800, P520, P320 as per nikon website. **Q: Is this compatible with canon eos - rebel dslr cameras?** A: no **Q: Will be work with nikon d5600** A: D5600 comes with builtin wifi and Bluetooth. I just got it and loved it. Why I bought this? I have d5200 and using it for two months... Diwali and some other family functions moments were captured in it. The real problem was how do I share pictures without laptop or some cable. Had a tough time to convince ,fb and whatsapp, enthusiasts that I will say send later on. Now with this utility I can share upload pics anywhere without anything else. About the live view.(App feature).. Yes it captures with lag of 1 or 2 seconds... But that's OK. About not adjusting aperture shutter speed etc. I am ok with that. I don't think I need that, just switch to auto mode, I am sure if you want to take pic in manual mode you would like to be behind camera, for quick adjustments, infact even this was given in this app I would have still not used it. The main purpose of mine is solved which was transferring pics. Connectivity... No issues as of now... Last but not the least this is about Adapter not the App, so I will recommend everyone specially with families to use this, your life will become easier. If you are a loner with wild life photography/scenic views/professional then you definitely you do not need this, because you would like to work on RAW files with lightroom/photoshop. ## Frequently Bought Together - Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter for Nikon Digital SLRs - BESTON 2-Pack EN-EL14 / EN-EL14a Battery Packs and Rapid USB Charger for Nikon D3100 D3200 D3300 D3400 D3500 D5100 D5200 D5300 D5500 D5600 DF Coolpix P7000 P7100 P7700 P7800 Cameras - USB Cable Photo Transfer Charger Cord UC-E6 for Nikon D3300 D750 D5300 D7200 D3200, Coolpix B500, Select Coolpix & DSLR (Please See Product Pictures & Complete List of Compatible Nikon Models Below) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/76019595-nikon-wu-1a-wireless-mobile-adapter-for-nikon-digital-slrs](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/76019595-nikon-wu-1a-wireless-mobile-adapter-for-nikon-digital-slrs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
