Hi! i did not get the usd cable, therefor, i can not use the light. what can i do?

It is a standard usb for a Samsung type phone so you can try that.

Would this work for food?

It depends, a full sized dinner play may not fit inside, but anything smaller should work well.

Are you able to purchase replacement LEDs?

No. The LED strip is riveted on the plastic sheet. You would have to drill the rivets out to be able to remove the led panel and put something else there like an adhesive led strip, which you would have to wire yourself. Make sure you drop off the defective led panel to a Staples to see to that it gets recycled properly.

LED lights cause black lines on digital cameras, how do you avoid this ?
