i love to travel and bought this for some new travel ideas. its got good coverage, nice pics and descriptions. the suggestions cover both unique places off the traveled roads as well as well known destinations.

WOW!! This book is Incredibly Beautiful -- every time I turn a page, it's another sweeping vista beckoning my Wanderlust & curiosity to know more! the sprawling photos say more than any captions can, The captions/descriptions are enlightening, helpful (tariffs, for ex) & include cool details like the 'scent' of a place(/activity) . Mentioned: Scotland's Orkney Islands, Papua New Guinea coral reef; Chile Lake District; 'Old standbys' include: Bhutan flags over monastery, Icelandic puffins; Athens ruins; a good 4 pages dedicated to Galapagos (as should be!) but the perspective of the photos is modern -- and every place looks worth experiencing! THIS BOOK IS WORTH GETTING FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHY -- check out my order history & see I own about 7 of this type of picture-travel-book (with several more on the way) : This is the Best so far!!!
