Well while buying this from amazon basic did not have such expectation once it get delivered show such good performance and come with sufficient large length of cable. most recommended!

The HDMI to DVI male adaptor cable by amazon basics is of very high quality. But, unfortunately, I was unable to use it. I purchased it to connect my laptop with a Monitor which is having a DVI input. The cable is very good. But due to resolution problem (a higher resolution is needed) in my laptop, I was unable to use it. So, I am now keeping it ideal. So, before purchasing the same, kindly confirm the compatibility of the device in which the cable is to be used. However, Amazon Basic product (cable) is awesome.

The VGA adaptors in this price range were very bad and get issues like screen noise in no time, but with this cable there were no issues at all and it helps in keeping hdmi connection separate so no more hassle to change pins. Also the quality is very good and the length is also very good. Overall worth it.

Good and working

After a lot of search I decided to buy this wire. My monitor is a bit old and accepts only display port or DVI but my laptop had only an HDMI port. I had to find a wire which was HDMI out and either DVI in or Display port in. But the challenge is I just could not find any wire which was HDMI out and Display port in. That is when I started looking for HDMI out and DVI and this is where this wire worked wonders. The wire is well made. Looks premium and the ports look strong and sturdy. DVI end of the wire fit perfectly well with the monitor and now I can switch devices on the HDMI port end easily. There is no lag or interference whatsoever between screens. Thank you Amazon for this perfect product. Highly recommended.

Doesn't work. Not detected by both the laptop and the monitor. Laptop: lenovo IdeaPad slim 3 Monitor: samsung s20b300b Heard it would work with dell business series monitors with built-in usb.

I have a DELL latitude 5080 laptop with HDMI port and Intel HD 520 graphics. I also have a HP ZR2740w monitor (2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz) with a DVI port and a DisplayPort. With this cable max resolution from HDMI to DVI is 1280x720 on the HP Monitor and I am not able to get the full 2k resolution. Some online search also revealed it is not possible to support 2k with this setup and the monitor defaults to 720p. The quality of cable itself is good.

i didnt use it for many times but the cable is real good the finishing , thickness and insulation was good

I need this for my computer as my old ass monitor doesn't have HDMI. So yeah works great, don't notice any latency or lag, no visual distortion or anything either. Nice thick cable so it isn't getting coiled up and tangled.

El cable funciona correctamente lo use Hdmi(Gpu) a monitor (Dvi) aunque tuve problemas al principio y no daba imagen pero eso era un problema con mi monitor

Excellent feature for the direct use between the monitor and other HdMI device. No need for additional adapters.
