Don't get deceived into buying this just for wide availability
Just because some company has good supply chain and wide availability of products, doesn't mean the products are good. It just means that they invest more money on supply chain over the product quality. And I learned it really the hard way.For achieving a good quality calligraphy with dip nibs, three things are really important.1. Your nib arms should be able to flex its two arms well to provide you chance for getting good quality calligraphy.2. You don't put too much force on the nibs to get the flexing. Nibs should flex with not much real pressure so that you can write with free arms.3. The nib points should be smooth. This selection set fails on all of these three grounds. Apart from that, the pens which look like wooden in the photos are not actually wooden and are plastics and the design of the holder is not very ergonomic as well.Very poor calligraphy set. Don't get deceived into buying at the price point of around rs. 1700 which is approximately 28$. Just with 5$ more money, one can easily buy good quality wooden holder and 10 set nibs from paper ink and craft. Only thing that led me buying this set was quick availability, delivery and wide selection of nibs (as per the look), but it didn't deliver even 10% on the expectations.

Not for beginners, decent set.
The product at its outset looks quite flimsy. If you use the copper color italic nibs, it might take a while to get started. They are highly ductile, as such please handle them with a high care. Be prepared for a hard start. Also, they shall require the ink reservoirs along with them. The set altogether is for intermediate/advanced writers/calligraphers. Beginners might not appreciate the value of such flexible nibs.I have owned certain nibs that are much stiffer in the past. However, there is a likelihood that with hard nibs might not give texture and character to the writing. The postmaster nib is great, gives a beautiful angle to the wrist while writing. It should be good for longer sessions of writing. Scroll 10 has been my favorite, ink flows beautifully through it.William Mitchell is a decent brand. Not the most durable, but they make tons of varieties of nibs (and a lot of qualities). The nib-holder is not good (took a star off). I wish the handle of the witch pen was wood (or wood like) as shown. However, the witch nib was a revelation, and fun! I have experienced better elbow nibs in the past. Never understood what the magnet strip is for, though. Would be interested to know, if anyone may know.
