Goldmedal G-Flow Wireless Electronic Digital Bell with Remote - White

I am using this model for approximate 3 years.I bought this for installing on the exterior of compound wall as the gate cannot be opened by a person from outside.A little modification was required for installing the transmitter button on the pillar of compound wall as the same is not water proof.Hence a wire has been extended from the transmitter and wrapped the transmitter with some waterproof plastic cover.Afterwards it was assembled inside a PVC box with push button switch and fixed on the pillar.For avoiding accidental triggering of bell,the built in switch was removed.Now coming to the product it is nothing other than a marvelous piece of electronics.Eventhough there are lot of melodies,few of them are enough audible and have enough duration to be heard.But the greatest plus point of this bell in contrast with others is once you select a particular melody it will not change until you reselect it for another one ,even if battery is removed.There are few melodies in the set which are highly audible and long lasting.Once you select that ,the pain is over.Its reception is very high as it will seamlessly operate from outside even if all the doors and windows are closed.No more missed try.Regarding the battery backup it will upset you if you pair this with ordinary AA batteries as it will consume a high amount of charge including its standby time.Hence I am using this with 3 AA Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable battery of 2000 Mah each which give me approx 3 months of usage with one full charge.Again one fact to mention that as Eneloop battery is a low self discharge battery which can retain its charge for a large period,you can expect self discharge at a rate higher than what standby mode is consumed,if you pair it with normal rechargeable battery.Somebody has mentioned that sometimes the melody is cutting off before its stipulated duration.This behaviour is mainly due to inadequate battery power of receiving unit as once the bell is triggered distance or other factors have nothing to do with the completion of the melody but if receiving unit has inadequate power melody will cut off in between.So check the battery power accordingly.If transmitter is not working,its battery too require inspection before jumping into conclusion.It is a durable high quality product which is superior to its competitors.Anyway use it with adequate care as the transmitter switch is not water proof but highly durable as well as powerful.

Great product for my elderly father at home... also a critical application. Worked brilliantly last 18 months. Suddenly stopped last evening and changing batteries for both the units i did not help either. Service mails did not elicit any response.Being a critical application I am forced to buy one new piece today...and becasue of the good experience last 18 months I am still going with this product. But if the service is not available when a customer needs it, then next time around will be forced to shift to another product for other requirements.

This has many flaws. It works fine so it's not a total waste. But worst part is there is no volume adjustment. It's so loud for my use. It has so many different tunes all of which almost sounds the same and gives me a headache. No simple tones. I guess you could use it for a commercial purpose on the streets or something. Not really ideal for your home.

Not durable . Stopped working in three months . One advice please buy Chinese doorbell like Baoji ,etc that cost 125 rs .I am using this Baoji product sins 2 year and that is very durable,I don't have to change the battery also. Battery last in this about 1 year. Please use duracel battery

Works OK but only one volume level, poor quality finishing. No indication anywhere of how many batteries are required, nor of battery size. It takes 3 AA batteries, which I have to recharge every month - much more frequently than my old doorbell, which I used for years. Excessive packaging - wasteful and polluting.

Have received it 2 days ago. Chose 1 day delivery and received in 21 hours and I don't even live in Mumbai or anywhere near Amazon's fullfilment centers but Gujarat. Great response on Amazon's side.Now for the item, I must say it is very nice. They provided a mini cell which goes into the remote controller, so you don't need to worry in that regards.Also provided in the package is two sided tape to mount the switch or main unit if needed on the wall without any screw or such. 2 mini screws are also provided if you want to mount the main unit on it.The main unit will need 3 AA battery cells (normal cells). The quality of sound is great as well. You are provided with tons of sound to choose from.The range of the remote control is superb too. I have fixed the main unit in terrace and I operated from ground floor (we have 2 floors) with even doors closed and it still responds very well. The rough distance for my use between controller & main unit is around 7 meters or so (30 feet) and it works well with all obstacles such as doors, ceiling, etc.I ordered this one rather than choosing the Rs. 250 one because I felt the quality of this would be great as the reviews for other item (Rs. 250 one) weren't impressive. And glad I made this choice. Little costly but works wonders.I mainly bought this to scare pigeons away from our roof as they tend to roost on our home & spoil it with you know what, lol. Preliminary tests shows to work in this regards! :)Over all, I am happy & satisfied. Definitely go with this and you won't regret.---------I will update this review in few months to see if this still continues to work well. :)

Super fast delivery by amazon. Nice product. Good Build quality. The main reciever requires 3 AA size batteries (Which do not come with the pack). The battery for the remote is included in the pack. It has a very good range. Satisfied with the product.Note: You need a knife or some sharp instrument to remove the backside panel of the remote to put in the batteries.
