This is a good filter for big size aquariums above 15.5 inches height and minimum 30 inches in length. It Has two part of chambers with good filtration bio sponge with power of 1200 liter per hour as stated in the cover. After reading reviews from different buyers, in lower chamber I put Seachem Purigen 100 ml(below) and Seachem Matrix 125 ml (upper part of the lower chamber) separate with an bio sponge (i cut it in small part for this activity which supplied with filter box) and in top chamber I put rest of Seachem Matrix 125 ml with Bio sponge and this gives pure crystal clear water and my fishes (Gold fish, Zebra fish and Angels) are happy but I am changing water minimum 15-20 % of my 100 ltr aquarium on weekly basis and rest of bio sponge can be kept as spare. Clean the filter on weekly basis.Its really a great product.

It's suitable for 2 feet Aquarium. There are two sections of filters. Top and bottom. Bottom one doesn't filter since between top and bottom section there is a intermediate layer. However, It does a decent work. Two sections can be used together or one independently as spare.

This filter is the best for 3 feet aquarium! Does the filteration job very well. I am writing this review after almost 2 to 3 weeks of usage and it cleared out most of the dirt flawlessly. You need not hesitate to buy this if you have a 3 feet aquarium. It won't disappoint you!Note:- I have 7 fishes. The effectiveness depends on it. I am rating it as per my experince in which the filter had cleared out dirt in 3 feet tank with 7 NOT VERY big fish in it.Another note:- The flow controler in the front is not provided with the filter. I had another filter of mine which had a flow controler. Fortunate for me it fit this filter, because my fish won't be happy with high flow! LOL! So do not expect that with the package. Because it is not a thing

First issue is that sponge chamber is too tight, need tools to open every time we clean.Second issue is motor power. Initially worked good, but suction power reduced with in few months. To get more power, we move to upper level gradually, clean filters more frequently.Our earlier filter purchased at local shop got these issues after one year, but this product started showing issues within 3 months.

Please don't buy this product, gor 2days it worked next day it stopped working, i cleaned it even its not working. Waste of money. Am not sure product which i got is like that or all the products. Even i can't able to return the product as well. So please don't buy this product. Waste of money.

It’s a good filter for starters but may not suffice if you are particular about very clear water. The filter has two sections and typically cleaning once a weekend is very good; fine even if you clean once in two weeks depending on when the small bubbles stop coming out from the nozzle indicating that it’s time to clean. The more fish you have the frequency of cleaning needs to vary accordingly. Though not a feature you could even replace the sponge in one section with media like active carbon but it’s a stretch for the one sponge filter and may need more frequent cleaning. In any case, cleaning the filter once a week is recommended. The sponge and the filter itself is good quality and does a decent job for aquarium enthusiasts who are just getting started. For more serious hobbyists, I would recommend a canister filter instead.

The pressure is very low. It stops working every 2 weeks. Not a good product.
