Great headset for the price!
I ordered two of these headsets for use by my wife and myself while playing World of Warcraft on our PCs. We had just recently gotten voice chat via Ventrilo set up and working, and we wanted to upgrade to headsets to replace our basic speakers-and-desktop-mic setup. Both headsets worked great right out of the box. The sound output quality is fine, both for the voice chat and the Warcraft game sounds and music. Our teammates reported that the microphone sound quality was fine as well. The headset earpieces are small, but include some cushioning. (They definitely fit "on" the ear, not "around" the ear.) I had some ear discomfort after wearing the headset for over an hour, but it was very slight -- definitely mild enough not to be a distraction. Adjusting the earpieces forward a bit on my head (so they didn't rest directly on my ears as much) helped. The headband is adjustable to fit various head sizes. Both my wife (5'6" with a normal head size) and myself (6'3" with a large head size) were able to adjust our headset to have it fit comfortably. The end of the microphone is slightly "bendy," and thus the microphone's position can be fine-tuned as desired. The entire microphone stalk can also be swiveled up to be parallel to the headset's headband, to move it up and out of the way.The hardware interface (at the end of the cord) is two standard sound plugs (that will fit standard PC sound cards) -- one for the sound output jack, and one for the microphone jack. The cord itself is a nice length, plenty long enough to plug into a PC sitting on the floor under a desk and reach the head of the user sitting on a chair at the desk.I'm sure there are better headsets out there, but I'd say that this is an excellent headset for the price for anyone looking for an entry-level headset.

Four years old and going strong
I bought this headset back in June, 2011. I had a minimal need for a headset, not enough of a need to spend much money. I looked around and found this one. Of all headsets in my price range, this was the only one with an identifiable name. I've never regretted that purchase. As of December 2015, this thing is STILL in use. It's on it's third computer. I find myself using it more frequently than my newer high-end Turtle Beach headset. The cheapo is actually easier to use than the good ones. More comfortable (actually less uncomfortable). I can't believe a $10.43 headset would last over four years, but it has.Sound quality is pretty good, but not great. Build quality is very good. It has a noise cancelling mic and the noise cancellation seems to work well. It's more comfortable for long-term wear than my more expensive gaming headset because it's lighter. I thought I'd broken the headset several times, just to discover it all snapped back together. I use it for Skype, Google Talk, general voice chat, and even (courtesy of an adapter) plugged it into my cell phone for use as a phone headset. For a $10.43 headset, it's great. Definitely worth the money.

Good for the price
I've purchased 3 of these over the years. The quality is pretty good. The sound is as good as some $50 headsets I've tried. I use these for gaming or watching videos when I dont want to bother others in the house with loud speakers. I have also used these for video chats with others and gaming online with others. The response from other players is that I sound great. I am easy to hear, and my voice sounds clear and not scratchy. When I tell them what I paid, they are surprised at how good they sound. I also have no problem using the mic on these to do the spoken lessons on DuoLingo. It hears me clearly and I do not have to repeat myself. The only issue I've had is that, over time, the mic extension gets loose and will not stay up when not in use. It starts falling down to your mouth and will not click back into place out of the way. Not an issue if you are always using it with the mic, but can be annoying for me to watch movies and have the mic down in front of my mouth when I want to take a sip of my iced tea and keep having to lift the mic up.My solution to this problem was to take an older one with a loose microphone arm and tape it into place in the upright position and only use that one for watching movies, videos or listening to music. Then I have a second one that I use for voice when I want the mic down.Overall great quality for the price if you do not need noise cancelling. I need to be able to hear my surroundings a little when I'm playing games or watching movies, so it's perfectly fine for me. My roommate still has to speak loudly if she wants my attention. They do dull outside noise enough that it wont be distracting.

Pleasantly surprised by what I thought would be a "cheap" headset
For the price, I wasn't expecting much. I just wanted something "cheap and cheerful" in case I needed to hop on a Zoom call during lockdown.Out of the box, the headphones work great. The sound is good in fact, that I have unplugged my PC speakers which actually cost more money! The cable is a decent length as well, which is important. With the microphone, make sure that you have the right microphone selected by default in your PC settings. Don't have it set to your webcam mic or anything stupid like that. I did, when I first tested it.But when I got the settings right, I tested the mic again and it gave me better results that a large standing mic I own which I paid £70 for (ripped off there).I don't normally bother leaving reviews at all, but I wanted to say "thanks" with this one.

Feedback
Excellent product, comfortable to wear and use, however when you are speaking into the mic,on occasions you have to repeat yourself and make corrections manually to your documents.
