Pete the Cat Take-Along Storybook Set: 5-Book 8x8 Set

Not that great as some single books are. Story is pretty average and words are tough for kids. Out of all, pirate and construction destruction are worst.

Love this set of books!

The box is great, but for me these titles are not the Pete and Cat we know and love. We already had some of the earlier books (White Shoes, Groovy Buttons, School Shoes and Big Lunch), which I would HIGHLY recommend. I don't know if the author has changed or they are just wringing a cash cow dry, but these books are different in style and definitely not to the writing standard of our other Pete the Cat books. I would not buy these again and my children (who are obsessed with Pete the Cat) aren't fussed about these books.

Si lees una de las historias de este simpático gato posiblemente querrás tener bastantes más como me pasó a mí, así que te ahorras un dinero si compras este lote en vez de las historias sueltas. Es un estuche de cartón con los libros de tapa blanda dentro. Aún no lo hemos abierto porque es para regalo. Tenemos varios libros de Pete the Cat y la verdad es que entiendo la fama que tiene en los países anglosajones. Las historias son cortas, divertidas y con un lenguaje muy muy sencillo para que lo entiendan los más pequeños así que los utilizaré más adelante para que mi hijo los pueda leer solo y se acostumbre a leer en inglés. Son libritos muy recomendables. Espero haberte sido útil.

Our 2 1/2 yr old grandson loves Pete the Cat anything, and our 5 yr old grandson enjoys the books as well. We read them over and over and over.... The writing is just enough for little kids and the colourful depictions of Pete and friends is perfect to hold their attention. Pete always leaves his little readers with a positive thought for the day. Highly recommend.

Love these books, gave them to my cousins to read while they were waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve!Pete the cat books are amazing, and loved by my cousins!

I read a lot of other series book, but this set disappoints me. I am not feeling joyful as much as other books. The stories were rather plain. Not recommended.
