## Description

MADE FOR C-SECTION MOMS: You had a baby and a surgery. C-Panty helps address the post-surgical part of your baby's arrival with RECOVERY CARE. This includes 2 components so you can get back to baby in comfort. #1 - COMFORTABLE, UPWARD COMPRESSION to help push fluids away from the incision area, and #2 A BUILT-IN SILICONE PANEL provides targeted support of the incision and may help reduce the appearance of scars. C-Panty is the original, patented recovery product to have these integrated features. No velcro, sticky strips, granny panties or cotton boxers that don't hurt but don't help! Long after you've tossed the disposable panties, too tight shapers and bulky binders, C-Panty will be hard at work. Provides SLIMMING & SHAPING postpartum support. FSA/HSA eligible. Pack in your hospital bag. Add to your baby shower registry. Patented. Imported. NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR WEIGHT LOSS. Not intended to reduce waist circumference. PRECAUTIONS: DO NOT USE ON OPEN WOUNDS. C Panty can only be used if the incision is fully closed and healed (no scab remaining). To use earlier, cover silicone panel with a panty liner.

Review: C-mamas rejoice! These undies rock! - I bought these to wear after my second c-section. With a newborn and a toddler at home to take care of I was willing to try any product that might make my recovery a little faster. I am SO glad that I got them! This panty was one of the best things I had after my c-section. It fits comfortably and provides a good level of compression throughout the abdominal area. I was afraid that it was going to hurt to wear these immediately after surgery but I started wearing mine as soon as I was released from the hospital (4 days PP) with no discomfort from the panty at all. I was also concerned about the small silicone panel that is designed to cover the incision but it turned out that I didn't need to worry at all as that area is just as comfortable as the rest. These have been especially nice to have at night when finding a comfortable sleeping position can be tricky. I used these in a rotation with a postpartum support band and I feel like they were very helpful in achieving a smooth and speedy recovery. I am currently 4 weeks postpartum and now in the awkward "my maternity pants are way too big but my pre-pregnancy pants are pretty tight" stage, so I still wear these to help smooth everything out underneath my clothes for a better look and fit. The high waist stays put and doesn't roll down or slip. Keep in mind that these are hand wash/line dry only, but they are very easy to wash and the material dries quickly. I followed the sizing guide provided by Upspring and went with the L/XL (I'm 5'4" and a pre-preg size 12 AND managed to gain a good 40 lbs during pregnancy. I miss you already, carbs!) and have been happy with the fit. I definitely would recommend these to any c-section mamas looking for postpartum support and comfort. Best wishes to all the new mamas, I hope you find these as comfy and helpful as I have!
Review: Might have died without this. - I recently had my first baby via planned c-section due to a host of medical issues. Thankfully, knowing beforehand - I had time to do some research as to what I might need post surgery. Although this c panty has somewhat mixed reviews, I am SO glad that I decided to buy it anyway and bring it to the hospital with me. When I was first allowed out of the hospital bed to use the bathroom and walk around - I honestly doubled over in pain feeling like my organs were literally going to fall out of my body. The pain was crippling. I was supposed to have received an abdominal binder ordered by my doctor but the hospital staff was kind of lame and nobody ever gave it to me. I did not even know until the last day that I was supposed to get one. Thank the holy Lord that I packed this in my bag with me and remembered it on the third day. I had my fiance help me into this as moving and changing was still quite challenging but almost as soon as I was able to get it on - it was like magic. It didn't take the pain away 100 percent but it did feel like it was holding things in place. I went into the bathroom to change walking like a hunchback and I was able to walk out of the bathroom almost straight. It was such a godsend that I bought two more. A spare in the same pre-pregnancy size and then one size down for when my belly starts to shrink post pregnancy. I would say the size is pretty accurate. The only minor complaint I have is that both sizes so far have fit a little tight around the upper thigh area. But it's not really a huge deal for me. It's been just about two weeks now and I only take these off to shower and wash them. Occasionally I use the abdominal binder with this for additional support but the c panty is fine by itself. I think it might be helping with getting my stomach back in shape also, but time will tell with that one. I would highly recommend this for c-section moms. Before the c panty - the pain was so bad I could never imagine going through this experience again. And if I want more kids I have no choice (due to pre-existing medical issues) but to have another c-section. Honestly, the c panty has been so helpful that I might be willing to do this again as long as these things are still around!

## Features

- MADE FOR C-SECTION MOMS: Panties with comfortable, upward compression to help push fluids away from the incision area, and a BUILT-IN SILICONE PANEL that provides targeted support of the incision and may help reduce the appearance of scars.
- ORIGINAL PATENTED RECOVERY PRODUCT: No velcro, sticky strips, granny panties or cotton boxers that don't hurt but don't help! Long after you've tossed the disposable panties and too tight shapers, c-panty will be hard at work.
- PULL-ON-AND-GO C-PANTY: It will help in all recovery stages. Can't start right away? No worries, recovery continues under the skin for a while so you can start anytime in the first month, and later if you are more concerned with the appearance of scarring.
- WEEKS 1-4: Ideally start c-panty as soon as you are comfortable, usually day 3-4. Just cover the silicone panel with a panty-liner until your incison is closed, around week 1-2. The comfortable upward compression pushes fluids away from the incision area, which aids in recovery. The gentle tummy compression is designed to be at the appropriate level for recovery.
- WEEKS 5-12: Continued support at the bikini line is key in this middle recovery stage. Keep c-panty on when you're up and about. Compression helps with fluids and comfort throughout the day. Our silicone works to help minimize the appearance of scarring.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I got these and they do help lift the skin a little and are comfortable. However
*by D***F on March 29, 2017*

The wife and new Mommy reviewing here! I was a little skeptical of this product since another reviewer called them "glorified Spanx" and while this isn't exactly untrue, I think they offer a little more than the average shapewear. I am very unhappy at the roll of skin/flab that hangs over my C-Section incicsion. Very unhappy. The compression belly belt they gave me at the hospital did help immediately after the surgery, however, it can be uncomfortable to wear and doesn't "lift" the roll of skin. I got these and they do help lift the skin a little and are comfortable. However, you do need to wait at least a few days if not a whole week before wearing these. Because you must sort of "shimmy" into them, it might hurt to get them up right after the surgery. I still wear my compression belt from the hospital but these are nice for under leggings and maternity jeans for a smooth look and support. Two things to improve. I would like to see the Moderate Compression Panel at the center a little tighter to smooth and whittle the waist just a little more. I also wish they had better sizing in a S, M, L and XL instead of the S/M and L/XL only. I would love to have a Medium in this product but I know the S/M size would most likely be a little too tight in the leg openings and would end up cutting in. Please get a wider variety of sizing!!!
